Abbas Athar will be so disappointing ,never thought but he did showed his stupidity with his knowledge when he did't know what he is talking about. Looks like he is living in wonderland where he dont have ground reality of pakistan .He is trying to defend the PPP,OMG. Then he says whats wrong with NRO,fine its a good ordinance,mr. athar why you did't tell the pros and cons of NRO, to you NRO is good then why govt did't defend it in SC-blaming media for the chaos, even musharraf apologised to the nation for NRO .In US ,mr.Obama is the main target in the media on daily basis and same other western countries ,the head of the govt is the target even though they are nationalist and capable people but not corrupt so why athar abbas is talking aain baain shaain.I use to consider him an intellectual but i was wrong, he is not even an ordinary journalist.Dont want to waste any more time on this useless person.

My Analysis
Dr Shahid Masood: Sick and tired of exposing corruption and frustrated for not seeing any results.
Talat Hussain: The most decent, thoughtful who knows what is he talking about.
Abbas Athar: An obvious somebody who is on someone's payroll.(What will he do with that money? with that kind of a shape he'll be dying in next few years)

This is a classic example of how the political wing of the media (television specifically) is flourishing in our society and how the thinking differs between the old mindset and new mindset television people as far as political reporting and thinking is concerned. If tomorrow PML(N) or any other political setup will come they will be under the same scrutiny.

athar abbas, hamid mir, harood rasheed, kamran shafi, irfan siddiqui and a bunch of other self employed 'Senior ANALysts" represent what i call the "13th Page" journalists...before private channels nobody knew they existed, they were getting off spending their nights at street corners arguing with other "faarigh" boodhas and writing 300 word articles that got printed in the "editorial" page of a newspaper...of course, they have hit the jackpot since these channels sprung up but their calibers have remained the same of "two-bit-tabloid" mentality. Talat Hussain is the only person who i always disagree with yet admire his arguing capabilities
