MQM chief Altafs appeal puts out Mirzas fire

KARACHI: The string of protest demonstrations which erupted yesterday night against the statement by Sindh Senior Minister for Works and Services, Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, has finally come to a standstill, as Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain urged people to remain calm.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain appealed to workers to put an end to their peaceful demonstrations, after which the protesters began to return homes.
According to a statement issued from London, Muttahida chief said Haq Prast public got their protest registered; now they should go back to their houses.
Altaf said, All Pakistani Haq Prast people deserve plaudits on the way they have voiced their grief and anger against the biased language and bigot manner directed against the offspring of founders of Pakistan.
On this occasion, Muttahida Chief thanked media for broadcasting and publishing truth-based reports.
Following the appeal by Altaf Hussain, the spate of demonstrations in cities is coming back has ceased as people are re-opening shops.
City is gaining back its daily routine, as the people on protest against Zulfiqar Mirzas statement in Sindh cities including Karachi, are going back to their houses. SAMAA
