What US is looking at is that Pakistan is gradually slipping away and that's what they don't like to see, major powers in region like China and Russia are going to play a constructive role includes investment in Pakistan. US only used Pakistan for their own interests and bled the country dry economically and morally by indulging in their wars. We need no more wars we need peace stability and economical growth.

If army took any strength in political matters then it is due to stupid dance drama IK was doing in front of parliament. IK kept crying on false assumption and now people only laugh at him.
