Dr atta is one of the best scientists.He is brilliant
And what is the criteria that Dr. Atta is best scientist (Best is what) ?
Taking over from Prof. Saeed-ul-Zaman siddiqui...yes may be best in this....
Best scientist never do this kind of politics. He is not "BEST" but let say he is scientist.
The kind of revolution he try to pose was a disastor. Ph.D. scholarships are really now like a "YELLOW CAB" scheme. HEC try to pose that they are raising the Higher education level up....but where is planning.....
This is all in papers. Tenure track system is all disastor. The Machine he talked about which is bought by QAU and then he referenced that Burton Richter (Noble Laureate) from Stanford recommended this machine. If you go and ask Burton Richter to write few words for our machine for a country who does not have any facility or any arrangement for this kind of physics, of course he will write yes this is good for a 3rd world country. But what do we get out of this...nothing. Just wasted people's money.
This machine is crap. This is old technology no one use this now. Where ever they got this machine from, those people earned money from pakistan just for junk.

Talking about budget for Universities from 1947-2003 being less than the budget allocated (2003-2009) to establish Universities, he's completely ignoring the cost of new technology to equip labs and "developed" teaching facilities.
