We are customer to hearing these lines Islam Khatre may hai Every Election, any local Trades union election we hear the above lines. We all know which party use this line most in there election memorandum.

Do you know who used these lines first? Let me shed some light on this topic.

Allamah Shibli Nomani born 3rd June 1857 .. Died 1914. Was the person who gave these lines to Muslim ummah. Shibli was the first Indian Muslim of Modern times who discovered the value of making the basis of political appeal. He is the original author of the war cry , Islam in Danger

Shibli said in an annual meeting of the Nadvah:: For the last thirty years, efforts have been made to uplift the Muslims in the name of Nationhood but the failure of these efforts is only too obvious. The followers of the Prophet do not respond to the call of nationhood. Appeal to them in the name of religion, and you will see what a splendid response you get.

Now we know the source of our Current doings. We are still haunted by our Great Grand fathers ideology.

Further just for information sake, Shibli created an Anjuman of Authors called Dar-ul-Musannifin. In Azamgarh He endowed his family bungalow and garden of the house to the Academy also donated his personal library.

Down a few years this same institute was the greatest opponent for Muslim league. This Anjuman was a strong voice against Muslim League. All Politically minded Ulama headed by Mualana Abul Kalam Azad and Mualana Husain Ahmned Madani ranged themselves against the Muslim League. The political policy and ideology of Shibli and his successors got enshrined in Iqbal Potery further hard core resistance came from Maulana Abul Ala Maududi who though his concept of Islamic State, hoped to get all the authority and influence for the ulama for which Shibli labored in vain.

Shibli, Abul Kalam Azad and Abul Ala Maududi form an unbroken chain.

Now here is my Punch line. Fast forward to 2011, May I ask what is similar between Abual Ala Maududi and Current leadership of Taliban. Do you see any link between these two?

that is a bad slogan who has created it was not aware that Allah has made this religion till the end of the world nobody can destroy it Allah Himself takes its responsibility for Islam and Quran it is true for are in a fix these days but if we seek help from inside our religion we shall follow the right path

its surely a reckless and irresponsible slogan but molana shibli was a renowed islamic scholar and historian if he did a mistake at that time to gather the asian muslims you should not defame him like this now

Predictions of Maulana were not based on some divine soofi dream. They were based on facts and HUMAN nature. The fact was that the majority of Muslims in the subcontinent lived as minorities throughout the subcontinent. Maulana also recognized that Muslims of the subcontinent made up of many cultures and languages and they required cultural and linguist space.

He was of the opinion that once the country is divided Muslims collectively will become weak specially those who remain in India will become weaker.

He did not predicted the demise of Pakistan, in his book and speeches he had said " those Muslims who migrate to new territories will be known as foreigners due to cultural and language difference ". He also said that in the new country division will become part of the Constitution and they will continue to sub-divide.

In his book he had stated that he considered him self as Muslim but also a part of distinct culture of the sub-continent.

His books are a very good read. He was not a hateful person.

As for Punjabi Rasmulkhat, Punjabi language does not have any documented Rasmulkhat.
