The truth is
In Iraq Saddam's Baath party is active in the name of ISIS because they provide them good payment and their revenge for what they lost after Saddam and now in Libya Qaddafi's soldiers are active and only those people have enough technical military capabilities to launch successful attacks.
So there is no faith behind ISIS there is fire of revenge.
And only faith can't make you suicide bomber there are many other reasons.
