Sena forwards Thackeray's 'crush Khan' agenda, cops to protect cine theatres
Mumbai: Shiv Sena activists demonstrated in front of superstar Shah Rukh Khan's house in Bandra here to protest his comments favouring inclusion of Pakistani players in the Indian Premier League (IPL). They dubbed him a traitor and have demanded that he apologise.
Thackeray said that the "Khan" inside Shah Rukh Khan must be crushed by the "Har Har Mahadev" war cry of the "Shivaji" inside the Hindus.

Shah Rukh Khan is the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team.

The Sena activists gathered outside Shah Rukh's home, Mannat, and protested late in the afternoon. They demanded a ban on the release of his forthcoming film, "My Name Is Khan", which hits theatres Feb 12.

The Shiv Sena has reportedly written to cinema hall owners asking them to boycott the screening of "My Name Is Khan".

What has this got to do with secular polity of India.> If every little incident can raise the basic foundational question taking generalization to new level. then you will have to entertain the same question apropos Islam every time some suicide bomber blows himself up.. there you claim no religion should not be judged by acts of few idiots but somehow when it comes to indian polity every little incident leads to that basic generalized question. BTW I full support Thackrey's objection to Shahrukh's claim that pakistan is great neighbour.. In fact I have an idea some neighbour of Sharukh should start lobbing few bombs in his campus and then we will ask later whether that neighbour fo shahrukh is great in his views or not..

One understand Sharukh's desire to make money through IPL team but to wrap this in a nonsensical assertions like somehow Pakistan is great neighbours exposes him throughly.

If history is anythign to go by then it's anythign but great..

Secular word is in preamble of constitution . that means even complete majority fo oen party in parliament can;t change that secualr polity.. So even fi ShiV Sena comes to power they will have to abide by the secular polity.. it's as simple as that..

Seriously I never understand why certain party boycotting some hero's movie based on his nonsensical comment like "Pakistan is great neighbour in face fo what India has goen through viz a viz pakistan in 60years" means secular polity is compromised

As a matter of fact as Per your GEO TV, 83% of Pakistani lives very stress full Life and Need expert mental help but Because Pakistani does not have it, Most Pakistani prefer to go to India. ( Also there are lots of Pakistani patient in India for medical help for many other reason.)

We don't need reason(s) to get united in India. ( In Pakistan, you guys do).We been united for last 60 years while Pakistan is already divided in 1971 and will be divided in three more countries very soon ( Baluchistan, Pakhtunistan and Sindh).

Good one I will up the ante further I am a staunch BJP supporter but the day BJP talks about India becoming hindu country I will dump them in seconds..

No party in India can swear by anything but secular polity..
