NO. SITUATION TODAY IS FAR WORSE THAN TWO YEARS AGO. 9 YEARS OF MUSHARRAF WILL GO LONG WAY.

I think the situation will keep on going worse for sometime because of the momentum of 9 years of Musharraf and then it will start getting better when we have got rid of most of the stunts made by Musharraf and in another 5 years, we would be able to reach October 1999. Then if democracy continues we would be able to start from there.

Situation is undoubtedly worse because Musharraf was bad but not really CHOR, but Zardari is a besharam CHINDI CHOR. However, Musharraf is definitely NOT the answer to these problems. I think we need a patriotic leader like Imran Khan to even imagine any change.

If you are referring to the biggest export in dollars, it was selling Pakistani citizens to US. The major reason of dollar sustainability.
Also Marshal Law means complete sell out to US. Similar thing happened during Zia regime. But find out details of first finance meeting after Zia and Musharraf regime.

I am not saying we should wait for five years, but the pity is that people are frightened and won't come out for a fast change. It is already a graveyard situation. Parents pray so much for their children that they come back home safe. These are gifts of Musharraf and it is not easy to get rid of them.

I dont know whether people act illiterate, or they are simply biased. To the people who believe it was Musharrafs fault terrorism grew in Pakistan.
Let me tell you guys, Musharraf in a way saved Pakistan from these terrorists, if he had chosen not to take action against them then i think he would have stayed president for longer but instead he did. You wanna know why? because these terrorits grew stronger day by day and if he had left them then after around 10 years or so, they would have been so strong and organized that they would have taken over Pakistan. But Musharraf thought about Pakistan and tried to get rid of them, while the people thought he was fighting his own people. These terroists were made up by Zia and not Musharraf, Musharraf only saved Pakistan. Please dont put up false allegations against anyone.
