I was looking at some future projections of GDP. I noticed that according to Standard Chartered, India is expected to surpass USA in total GDP in 2020s and become second largest economy after China. By 2030 their total PPP GDP will be 50% higher than USA.
By 2040, their GDP per capita will be double that of Pakistan. Imagine that there was a time when Pakistan's GDP was consistently higher than India. For these reasons India is fast becoming a heavy weight and Pakistan is staying stagnant.

This is true - From pure technical perspective, we may be at par with them but where we lack is management side of the business. Our Indian friends have surpassed even goras in that field.
Living abroad for two decades, I've observed that we Pakistanis are very vocal about our internal political conflicts and disgrace each other including army, judiciary, questioning their patriotism etc, even in the presence of other nationalities however I yet have to see/hear from a single Indian (except sikhs) criticizing their institutions or politicians (may be I have to expand the circle of my Indian friends for that matter. :-) ). They always use the "well left" technique if anyone ask them issues related to minorities in India. And I truly admire their patriotism - it doesn't mean that we are less patriot but I guess we are just more vocal :-)
