Investment Opportunities in KPK

Dear All,

I need to help identify potential projects for an investment firm in the Middle East with over $100 million in possible investment funds and ability to raise more if required. Currently, I've identified the following and have a small team pursuing to gather feasibility studies conducted by prior governments.

Electricity:

Daral Khwar - 35MW
Ranolia - 12MW
Batal Khwar - 8MW
Sammar Gah - 28MW

There are also 5 other larger sites with a capacity to produce in excess of 5,000MW. There are also 67 smaller sites with potential in excess of 400MW.

How much is the electricity consumption of KPK at the moment? My personal goal is to introduce electricity into KPK's grid to fulfill at least 60% of KPK's demand whereas the rest is taken from the National Grid. This will also reduce the overall rate of electricity in KPK since the projects will be based on renewable sources like Wind and Hydro plants.

good work, we all should concentrate how to improve KPK to make it an example for the whole pak to show how IK and PTI can make a new pak ,,,, IK zindabad , we will Inshah Allah see a new pak and Switzerland in a few years in the shape of KPK to make Punjab look ugly...

we need to equipt law inforcement agencies with modern technology,like modern weapons,nigh vision glasses,forensic labs,helicopters,bullet proof jackets,metal detectors,cctv cameras,intelligence training etc.we need to raise fund for that.No investment is possible until security situation improves.

IF KPK concentrate on tourism industry in the first place, we can attract people of pakistan in huge numbers and later when the law and order situation improve this will be a centre core industry.

Let us turn the tables on those who thought that IK and his team will be over through rigging. I have absolutely no doubt in mind that fiver years later, KPK will achieve more than what Punjab couldn't do in 25 years. It's a challenge and kaptan just loves challenges :)

Wish to have KPK based companies be listed under ADR and GDR (i.e, trading in US and European stock exchanges).

We have already provided in excess of $2 million worth jammers, cell phone trackers and other equipment for intelligence to Balochistan. We will be doing the same for KPK as well.

Security should be number one concern. Lot of talent and business have been moved out of city. Effort should be to bring them back by restoring security condition. Empowerment to local people is important. Private sector have to play role in it. A friend of mine is working on a model where they support education for children in Government school and Water problems by installing water pumps in mosques. Cost for educating a single child is very low. I think its 200 PKR, which comes around 2$. If we have to support him financially, we have to pay around 20$ so he do not have to do a job. We can all take responsibility of educating atleast 1 person. Similar model could be adopted with local volunteers.
If any one is interested, I can get a rough plan and we can execute it with name of dollar charity. A person pitching in would know whose his money is going directly. With aim to keep administration expenses as low as 5%, we need a strong team dedicated. Any one up for it ?
