I agree with u on universities thing, If IK comes ask him to ban student unions, i dont find any harm in that other then they are being used in wrong way, and I am PPP worker/supporter and everyone is not criminals. u should work on how to face political differences, first i was being called an uneducated and illiterate and now a drunkard WOW :D just because i support PPP? Take It in face.
not the bravest, actually imran hasnt taken any risk, to become a big player, the players needs to take big risks so he is neither greatest nor the bravest
im not calling you drunkard I did not say your a political worker, i said this because i have witnessed this my very close friends are in STP Shaheed bhutto and PPP, and 90% of them mostly work for drugs alcohol and some money. Their parties provide them with this, as well as some weapons. These parties have no real support in public now. I doubt IK is going to come to power, most likely PMLN along with PPPP will form next govt. As Gilani says there is no real opposition, PMLN is only playing opposition because they are scared of PTI otherwise PPP and PMLN are brothers who have faced hard times together. PPP had enough seats in Punjab assembly to form a govt in Punjab but they allowed PMLN to form the govt. Zardari k Nawaz pr boht baray ehsaan hain. Also were all expecting heavy rigging.

Well it may be harsh for u but PPP would be in government for 5 years more, that is most likely as i should say. P.s what u said may represent a little group of people i am PPP supporter and worker i never got any orders to do any such stuff nor i got provided with weapons by PPP, i do have for my safety thats an other debate :)
Unfortunately thats what I have been hearing, corrupt generals are happy with Zardari, but let me tell you they are snakes, you wont even know it he someday or the other they will hang him aswell.
and for ur rigging part ur so-called azad adliya can work on it afterwards and moreover we are expecting more of free and fair elections with unbiased election commission :)
I doubt it.
The by elections were rigged what did the one eyed judge do about that?
Jiye Sindh Jiye, Sindh Wara Jiye..Sindh topi ajrik wara jiye #Pti4Sindh
Yes, I still believe that. My observation is based on realities on the ground in Sindh. Name one good and viable candidate in PTI who is a sure winner from any constituency in Sindh? If you are able to come up with one - then try to think of five names. I think that it will be very very tough. The public meetings in Karachi and Hyderabad are serving a purpose other than winning seats in elections in Sindh.
You are right that its too early but we are talking about PTI and unless they form an alliance with a nationalist party and they win some seats then its a different scenario otherwise three to five seats for PTI is a VERY optimistic forecast.
I dont think they were rigged, it was expected. What gillani has done for multan is obvious and hence, his son's victory was obvious too. Moreover if there was any rigging its for courts and election commission to act upon it which they didn't so things show for itself.
Im speaking about the legality of the elections not the results. It is important for the election commission to show the voters lists at least one month before the elections. Months have passed since the elections the voter lists have still not been shown, ironic isn't it?
Also supreme court ruled that 40% of the votes are bogus, the election took place on bogus votes and thus was illegal. There was displace of weapons at polling station and use of violence. Candidates ferried voters on their trucks and cars which is illegal. And God knows what else happened where media wasn't present.
The paid media purposely hyped the Waheeda Shah issue to shadow the real issue which was the illegal election. I don't place all hopes on CJ, Govt has responsibilities too, if they don't handle their responsibility they don't deserve to receive votes in future they know what the rules are why do they not follow them.
Actually i agree with u on most of things u said, but u shouldnt forget its new born democracy and it would take time to build up on it, just dont let this fall, whoever comes with majority should rule and thats it, i bet we would be much better after 15 years :)
We would be much better tomorrow if our people are educated today and politicians stop using corpses for political purposes its degrading for the dead. There is no threat to democracy even if 10 PM s are kicked out, another one can take his place. But If you kick out a CJ or a top bureaucrat from govt, its not easy to fill that post the institution gets destroyed. Politicians only get power for 5 years at most. Bureaucrats and Judges have to work until they retire, id support the Supreme court over the parliament any day.
Interesting you say that .. your argument can only hold if bureaucrats are not corrupt .. same with CJ .. why has CJ been so busy highlighting and solving only cases against certain corridors?
Why has he/SC not decided on asghar khan petition? What about cases against Nawaz?
So, it is a not a matter of black and white as you seem to think of...
