Imran Khan and Military Generals

Dear Forum Fellows,

I would like to share my comment about Imran Khan's statement after supporting Pervaiz Musharraf in a referendum in the Regime of Pervaiz Musharraf as "I will never support any Martial Law General in future even he is like an angel". (I do not remember the actual words but meaning was the same)

While now a day he is again supporting Martial Law type steps as proposed by Altaf Hussain. What do you think about wisdom of such a politician who is inconsistent in his politics?

HE said he will not support military rule by any means only if army plays some role in back ground to help govt to sort things out , that would be acceptable, you can watch his interview with shahid masood and kashif abbassi . Dont jump to wrong conclusion , he is way smarter than the rest of the political lot we have in pakistan.

I don't think Imran's Statement can be counted towards Invitation for Marshal Law. IF you see the whole programe and listen carefully, he used word Chaos, and Supreme Court should ask Army under article 190 if the Govt. Machinery fails to perform its functioning. This role of Army is as per 190 article of Constitution.

take his statement positive, do you not feel what he is recommending is voice of most of Pakistani peoples. just get rid of this govt and dont care about Marshal Law. In current situation Marsha Law is better option than any other available options.

Evey time Pakistani people think like this and every time they are deceived and new set up put Pakistan a century behind and I think People of Pakistan are unable to learn from their mistakes. If you will work for throwing a "LOOLI LANGHARA" so called democratic setup unconstitutionally you cannot be rewarded with any real system because a cactus plant cannot produce sweet potatoes. So if still Pakistanis are not so patient and wise then no one else can change their fates and will be hanging till some one will hunt them and will be slave again. Independence is reward of God if you will not take care of it you will miss it. Then it will be too late.
