Doing anything of the sort would be detrimental in Karachi. Slowly but surely PTI is gaining ground in Karachi which the last elections showed. They need to continue doing the same to give the people of Karachi an alternative. By pitching aggressively against MQM, PTI would expose its Karachi leadership and supporters to the tyranny of the armed wing of MQM. PTI does not possess such a wing therefore, has to move tactfully.
