Impact of Indian Media on Pakistani Public

It's a documentary by Mahrukh Qureshi that how media is spoiling Pakistani public. I don't know when are we going to come out of it. I am happy that media in Pakistan got freedom otherwise the damage would have been much greater through Indian media. You can see how this family has become addicted to Indian soaps. They don't even have proper living and instead of giving a good education to children this mother is doing an evil crime .How can these children learn when parents are such weirdo.
What need to be done to come out of Indian media influence i would like to hear from you guys .

This is the same girl who did shows with Zaid Hamid. Anyways, growing up in indian punjab, we used to get PTV and enjoyed watching pakistani shows along with ofcourse the indian shows. Neither of them made us any less sikhs. Like the moulvi said "indian shows are reducing hatred towards hindus"........ Now is that really a bad thing?

Good observation .I think you follow Zaid Hamid shows that's why u recognised this reporter. Well Ptv showed family programmes where no one would have objection .At that time you only had DD channel so people had just one alternative and ptv provided good drama serials to entertain public in both countries. In indian soaps there is just spice and nothing else . I wonder how people indulge themselves in stupid soaps which serve nothing but waste of time .
Secondly which moulvi did you come across who said Indian tv soaps are helping in reducing hatred against Hindus.We are not enemy of any religion.I have good non muslim friends from different parts of world. I am criticising those who are indulging their kids in these stupid tv soaps of Star tv and other indian tv channels. At this age kids should concentrate on studies and if you watch this report properly you will see how this kid is behaving.

Indian's themselves have become so westernised that they don't give a $hit about what they represent as long as it makes money!. By and large in Pak our own culture is the dominent one. We don't celebrate any of their festivities, our women hardly dress in sari's or wear bindiya's where as our men dress in shalwar kamiz that is a rare garnent in India.

In many parts of India Muslim culture of Pakistan rules, i remember Indira Gandhi once saying how India was losing its identity due to Muslim especially Pakistani cultural invasion. Qawwali music, sherwani, architecture and all the eateries come to mind. Having travelled in many Pak city's i feel that we're much more Arab even Afghani then anything to do with India so don't get stressed over what a kid is doing!
