Seriously time has come to introduce drastic cuts in defence budget and governments spending in order to save the back of poor and lower middle class of Pakistan.
Pakistani government should now also decide to widen the tax net (Instead of further burdening the existing poor tax payers of Pakistanis) and to inject massive amounts in developing energy resources along with its utilisation, to invest in SMEs and large scale corporations & factories to boost economic activity across the vast mainland.
SBP also need to intervene along with policy guideline of parliament to force existing network of banks in Pakistan to invest a good chunk of their money in sick and robust industrial and agricultural sector of Pakistan or else wind up their f***ing business and go elsewhere because this poor country cant afford to see more bank investments in governments treasury bonds.
Pakistan is in real danger of implosion economically speaking if such measures are not been taken in coming years.
