I am pakistan

Now and then I ask myself a question which keeps me awake at night, which keeps me worried all the time. May be its complete and utter non sense but when I look at my country I realise why I have become so negative.
“What is Pakistan?” There may be many ways to address this question. Geographically Pakistan is a piece of land which gives recognition to more than 160 million people. In the trade world it is an exporter and importer of different goods. From military point of view it’s a jackpot which everyone wants to win. Economically it is a place which allows further opportunities to the elite and rich to increase their wealth.
So many answers to one simple question except its not as simple as it looks. I further ask myself that what if there is nothing, what if there are no imports and exports what if there is no military interest, what if there are no opportunities to make money in Pakistan. Would this make me love it any less? Would it make me feel lesser pain for it? Would there be no Pakistan? And thus a simple question does not remain simple any more.
I have seen people from different nationalities but I have never seen anyone who loves a piece of land as much as a Pakistani. Do you know why? Do you know why he still loves it when there are all those things that make life unbearable for a common man? Even in the worst of times he still hopes for a better future, a better outcome?
I know why, because “He is Pakistan”. Because I am Pakistan and every single child that is born in this land is Pakistan and every single person who has died, his body has become a part this soil, part of this land.
I don’t know the answer of whether this land would be safe in the coming future but I do know one thing that Pakistan would always exist for as long as there is even a single Pakistani on this earth.

My Dear Friend,

Your emotions are worth while, We have pretenders Pakistanis, But they are in real, Punjabi, Sindhi, Balochi, Pathan, Mahajir etc. When they need they start calling themselves Pakistanis, When Pakistan need them as Pakistani, they immediately become Mohair, Pathan, Balochi, Sindhi, Punjabi etc.

Just give me an answer, What is the point of having a Pakistan, where Muslim kill their Muslim brother and Sisters in the name of Ethnicity, Sect, etc, Where people died of hunger and their rulers and their families enjoy luxurious life, where youth get their education to get settled overseas, where no justice available for common person, those who are poor, they have no right to live. these are main questions, no could answer, except bringing some useless debates.

salam,
thnx for your reply, I hate debates myself especally when they have no positive outcome. One answer to your Question is you yourself. I mean if we are so hopeless then what is the point in running this website and talk about Pakistan all the time. The other answer to your Question is that I have spent most of my time amongst people of different ethnicities and there is no doubt one is proud to be Pathan, Punjabi, Sindhi, Balochi but they is never a second opinion about pakistan. When I talk to my friends whose majority is pathan, we talk about condition of Pakistan not Punjab or sarhad.
We have this confusion just because of the media because we always see the faces of those people who have nothing good to say. We always listen to view point of a few people. A common man which 99.9% of Pakistan's population never gets to share their thoughts.
If you think about it then you realise that its the same faces over and over again on the tele claiming to be the representitive of the majority but you tell me that when not even 2% of the population cast vote (because they don't want this western system) how can we assume that punjabi, pathan, sindhi and balochi hate each other???
Our problem is that when we see the same thing over and over again our mind start believing it. Its human physcy. But you and I live in real world and in real world no one hates each other. Being proud of one's background is nothing bad.

This is best reply I could give you, may be its not enough.
