yes man , this report is pretty much true. if u take todays' interview of new american general for afghanistan, he clearly said that this war is going nowhere and also obama would like to shape this war towards an end before mid term election in America due to the decreasing support for this war among american public. even Gordon Brown was in afghanistan yesterday and he said we should try to negotiate with moderate talibans, these statements show that they want an end to this war but obviously they would like to keep minimum presence, influence in afghanistan as part of their future strategy for this region. i believe that large number of troops deployment in pakistan is also a part of their exit strategy in afghanistan, this way they will also keeep direct pressure on pakistan. its up to pakistan now whether pakistan wants an end of this war on their own expence (by allowin american bases in most important cities of pakistan). only time will tell what effect these forces will have on the future of pakistan.

But as per my personal experience:-

Daily Ummat is a " Jhoota News Paper". They don't have a journalism ethics. They ever show a wrong picture of every main issue.

I have a proof on my openion i.e.

U guys must read a story of husband of "Dr. Aafia" in this news paper. That she is living in Karachi now a days. And she made a " khud saakhta roposhi" by herself. Which was totaly wrong story.

And the above mentioned story also I bet must be wrong. You will see in future.

So, I don't believe on that "news paper e.g. Daily Ummat".

U.S. weakening Pakistan by staying in Afghanistan
"Scores of national security strategists have implored that the U.S. cannot withdraw from Afghanistan anytime soon (if ever) because if Afghanistan falls into the hands of the Taliban it would lead to the further destabilization of Pakistan; and if Pakistan is destabilized, nukes would fall into the hands of al-Qaeda. However, I agree with Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold that reality on the ground has proven the indirect what-if postulates of foreign policy clairvoyants wrong, and it is time for the United States to begin a phased withdrawal.
