Nice article.
But sorry to say this is a half truth.
Mr.Haroon Rashid lost the credibilty of this excellent column. He dragged all the parties but he forgot his favorite PTI's chairman Mr. Imran Khan.
Is Imran Khan not following everyone's footsteps? Does the menifesto of PTI not make Mr. Khan all in all of the party? Is this a real democracy and justice?
If Mr. Rasheed really wants see a real democracy and he is fond of "justice", then he should also remind it to Mr.IK also. As he is the biggest fan of IK.

Its not easy to understand what Haroon rashid is saying. Specially for the the people he has mentioned in his article. It will take time for them to realize and understand the point of view. Completely agree with him. May god bless him and he keeps writing no matter what happens. Haroon rashid is one of the best intellectuals of pakistan. BUt still people have the right to give there opinion. But the opinion should make some sense rather then just playing blame game.

It's one thing to be pro-left or pro-right, and another to write a book on Zia, calling him one of the greatest muslim leaders of the last few decades blah blah.

If someone goes to this extreme defending their idols (and not ideology, mind you), they need NOT be taken seriously!
Secondly, there are many decent journalists around who don't worship ANY political leader, hence their works are much more objective. Ever heard of Cowasjee, Talat hussain, Irfan Hussain and the like?
