WAr was a bad choice for both countries in 65 and 71 and guess what happened. Having a rational leader on both sides if the border and unrealistic and there is a high probability there will be a war in the future especially with right wing gaining power in India.

Fighter jets and tanks are value multiplier but just like Iran Iraq war, most wars between 3rd world countries for atleast another 100 years will be dominated by infantry and land units.

It wasnt that our airforce was lacking in 1965 war but we still lost that war because we were outnumbered 3:1 on the ground. No matter how much damage PAF did to the enemy it is hard to change that reality.

Circumstances were different on two different occasions of 65 and 71. In 65 army started operation Gibraltar in Kashmir and idea was to get Kashmir this way. Indian attacked Pakistan from international border in a reaction. We started the war but our books says something different. In 70, if we have accepted Mujeeb's mandate and given him full Pakistan's power things would have worked well. We used power on Bangalis instead which complicated matter and war was an end. Both wars are very complicated and many books can be written on it. In both cases our army has not acted responsibly although there are many other factors as well.

Many countries have national service.Young people serve in the armed forces for one year.In UK they used to have it but abolished it.It is a great idea to instill discipline and teach young people different skills.It is good for their mental and physical health.

North korea Asia mulk hay jahan per ye training 12 saal hay . Hur student lurka huo ya lurki ussay 12 saal Army ko denay purtay hain werna ussay ID card issue nahi hota .
Issi terha South Korea main hur lurkay ko 2 saal ke liay army training school jana purta hay .
Iran main bhi aisa hi hay
Israel bhi aisa hi kerta hay . Aur bohet se countries main ye system hay. Pakistan main bhi hur student ko 1 se 2 saal tuk army training dena chahiay . At least jitnay 2 number tanzeemain b

As I have said before there are no chances of war any more and its no use of arms race with India. Whatever we will do India will out number us therefore using our additional resources for army are useless. We should instead cut army budget and ground forces to use money on human services. Maintaining minimum requirement to defend country should always be there but spending big chunk of budget on army is not wise. Pakistan is a small country and cannot do arms race with India therefore human development should be an object now.
