my cousin studying in BURNLEY (Preston university's campus) and doing fashion designing , they had a choice to go to India for some real time fashion shows because their dresses are same as Pakistani dresses , and fashin shows are like everyday in some cities , they were 5 students , 3 of them were White British ,1 is Indian Muslim and my czn who is Norwegian by birth and her parents from Pakistan , so they applied for visas with University letters and documents , Indian embassy/consulate refused HER visa and said she have to wait for 6 months because we have to check her past and her parents etc ... she threatened them on phone that she is norwegian national and go to court etc but nothing happened ,so she is not going and in protest all of her mates not going to INDIA and they are doing this work here in UK ....

Many a time I get call from Indian companies inquiring if I would be interested in providing a NATURAL programming support.

I have always said: If I am living in Canada and work in the US, why would I go to India? But if you need me I can work from

I wanted to take some time off Siasat and do something constructive. I called up my 3 new Pakistani brothers. I have been friends with them for only 2, 3 weeks.
They each hate India and had story to tell.

1. This brother's eldest brother is at a very high position in London. He is a physician consultant and as such he has to go 10 countries and study their health care systems. Would you believe his sponsor had selected countries and India is one of them. This doctor is a UK citizen and been their for years.
The Indian visa office refused him visa to visit and study Indian health in general public. Now his thesis will target another country

2. Another brother sister has married and Indian Muslim from Hyderabad. she wanted to visit her new in-laws in Hyderabad but was refused the visa.

3. This brother wanted to see his father's home town by Jaipur (I didnt bother asking where Jaipur was) but his visa was denied with Canadian passport because place of birth on the Passport was Pakistan. He was told to apply thru Pakistani passport 'then we will look at the application'.


I dont understand why Indians are so idiots. They are very good in causing general public a terrible inconvenience and hardship. The third brother gave up the notion of seeing his father's hometown.

India's claim of largest democracy, freedom, and human rights falls flat on its face. I am sure there are 1000's like these brother have story to tell.

Alhamdulillah we Pakistanis do not cause these hardship to people. We recognize that general Indian public innocent. Its the govt that is murderer, hagemonous, and terrorist. May Allah make Pakistan strong soon so we can work on making possible for people who want visit India. And the best way to accomplish this is to take over India. Then being one country, people wouldnt need visa to visit their families or their father's ancestral town.

Even though gazoo says he has put Indians in ignore list, I have no doubt that he reads each and every one of our comments, hence i am quoting him. It is unfortunate that his relatives were not granted visa to visit their relatives. Ease of access to each others country is paramount to develop good neighbourly relation among two countries which which once shared common heritage and there are still so much common between two. Few years ago towards the end of Musharaff tenure when relation was improving leaps and bounds, visa procedure was greatly improved, lots of people from Pakistan visited India. Lots of Pakistani students enrolled in Indian universities. There were substantial back channel talks regarding Kashmir too and I had great feeling that now we could live like good neighbours just like sri lanka and India. Then Bombay happened.... Every time relation starts warming up forces inside Pakistan start sabotaging the momentum such as kargil, parliament attack, train bombing, temple massacre and bombing in Gujarat. Bombay attack was the straw that broke the camels back.
After all this I can understand India's suspicion at Pakistan. If such situation repeats in future, then the official which issued visa to people who committed terrorist act will be named and shamed and will also loose his job, so they are scared to issue visa.
Even after all this I agree that visa procedure should be improved and people who are old or very young and people who want to visit relatives should be put on different category and should be granted visa easily. Students, journalists, artists and trades people should also be given visa more easily. Most Indian people and decision makers understand that people to people contact are essential to developing peaceful relation. Peaceful and normal relation with stable and democratic Pakistan is extremely important for India's own interest. I have no doubt that when trust between India and Pakistan will increase all these visa problems will be solved. However Pakistan first should control those rouge elements (in collusion with agencies) in its soil that sponsors terrorism in India.

I do no think Pakistan can control any terrorist organisation because they have all become non-state actors from state sponsored. So, some one will find opportune time to sneak into India and make some noise. So, the trust will not build up unless some thing dramatic happens from Afghanistan side.

1. they issued diplomatic passport to Altaf hussein, yet they arent terrorist and they do not trust Pakistan

pakistan cant contol extremists who have inflitrated their armed forces to brigadier level,do you expect them to forgo anti indian activity all of sudden!!
