Hashmi sahab ko to lagg pata jaye ga agle election mein, inshallah agle election mein haarne ke baad Hashmi ka moon kala karke gadhe pe bitha ke poore multan ka chakkar lagey ga.
The common man is going to vote for Imran Khan (just like during Bhutto's time) at least in the urban areas and unless PTI is going to give ticket to a corrupt or a person of very bad repute in the area (which IK has assured they will not even if winnability is very high) it is not going to affect PTI support among voters. Perceptions need to be improved and things will get clearer when we see PTI's candidates in their totality (about 800). As far as I know, the plan is to keep a majority of new and fresh faces, while a minority of "electables" mostly from the rural areas. Javed Hashmi pointed to the same in one of his addresses yesterday.
Kamran belongs from those breed of anchors who present themselves as the champions of intelligence. He never learned from the mistaken assessment he made when Jamshed Dasti won the bye elections. PPP voters are more or less satisfied with the performance of their representatives and they understand the financial limitations and also know that change comes slowly through an evolutionary process in third world countries. USA didn't become USA in a few years time. It took them 200 years to evolutionise.
Its so astounding to see an anchor coming from Takht e Lahore and asking people whether they will stand up for elections. Kamran when will you get a ticket from Lahore ? Will you always remain a servant of Nawaz Shareef ?
A city which never got its due financial share for development in the last 60 odd years thanks to the looters and plunderers of Takht e Lahore cannot be changed completely within a limited span of 4 years. Yes there can be a beginning and the slap by PPP voters was a testament that development projects in the last 4 years surmount the work done in Multan in the last 60 years. Why does Kamran not remember the shabby condition of Multan when he zooms his car on the Ring road of Lahore ? Kamran the Ring road that you drive your car on is actually built by the money of Seraiki areas but you choose to turn your eye against this fact deliberately ? Oh and Lahore is the most developed city of the world inspite of all the loot and plunder ? Even Obama gives examples of Lahore's development, last month he admitted that Lahore is more developed than Washington DC :P Gareebon kay ilaqay mein a kar gareebon ka mazaq urata hai besharam nau daultiay!
Anyways the analysis of this program shows that PPP votes are intact and overall stable. The anti PPP votes are divided, confused and disoriented and the agents of Takht e Lahore are buried forever.
A city which has been neglected for 60 odd years, development work in the last 4 years ............ not enough but atleast the process of change has begun and the people of Multan can say that they live in a third world city instead of an ancient city.............
