the ppp govt is not really interested in building the kalabagh dam. The more pakis suffer the more anp get disgraced, which is what the ppp wants.

Because of recent blasts anp is gone into oblivion and too scared to even make statements. The anp has not done an iota of thing for th kpk people. If anything they have hurt them by being so insensitive to the needs of their people.

If patriots were the government, we would publicize and do an effective public campaign and lobbying with the pkp govt. If needed put the kalabagh river/falls under fed parks/forests. Then fed can do with that what ever they want.

But the best way we would have have accomplished is to pour money in kp for developments and beat the anp that way. When people actually see developments happening day n night, they would lobby for us.

Aik chenab tha us per india nah dams bana liyah hain ab indus river bacha hai magar us per india agar dam bana lah gah toh hamain koi aaitraz nahi laikin punjab agar kala bagh banata hai toh qayamat aa jay gi. Yah waqt in baton ka nahi hai main manta hon magar kiyah kisi nah socha hai kah hum nah dams na bana ker kitni bari keemat ada ki hai. Aaj hamaray haan jo electricity hai woh 11 rupees per unit mil rahi hai in dams ki waja se maximum 2 rupees ki milni thi. Inflation mei is ka kiyah koi role nahi. Punjab ko sab se ziyada bura bhalah kaha jata hai magar yah sach hai baki 3 provinces ka kuch burden punjab per hai. Hum apni aanay wali nasal ko kiyah dah rahay hain yah sochnay ki bat hai. Aaj hamara hai or hum nah is ko banana hai ya barbadh kerna hai is ka faisla hum ne kerna hai. Allah hum per reham karay or punjabi pushton sindhi or baluchi kah jagron se bacha ker rakhay.pakistan zindabadh

if kalabagh dam was built than the present flood water would have been stored in it.as it would have been a massive dam...this stored water had given us very cheap electricity and water for next 2 or three years easily
anp and mqm and ppp claim that if kalabagh dam is built than nwfp would come under water and sindh would not get any water...but now we can see that frontier came under water anyway.than sindh nationalist parties also oppose k b dam. but see now.due to non formation of kb dam sindh is under flooding that will destroy millions of acres of fertile land there causing great damage to common people.if k b dam was made than sindh would not face any flooding but would have got its share of water from k b dam in normal manner.

kalabagh dam was not built because indian agencies gave millions of dollars as bribes to pakistani nationalist leaders...this fact has come out in open recently,but why would india bother with this ,answer is given below

india has great weapon in its hand with which it does not need bombs to destroy pakistan.as pakistans all rivers come from indian occupied kashmir so india has built dozens of dams on these rivers...when pakistan needs water india stops every drop of water and this results in crop failure in pakistan...and when it is flood season india opens the gates of all dams so that flood water hits at maximum speed and intensity into pakistani areas like we are seeing nowdays...so by controlling these dams india has pakistans carotid artery in its hands...now if kalabagh dam was built and water stored in it than india would not be able to flood pakistan or make pakistan beg for every drop of water in different seasons
so india used its influence on nationalist leaders of pakistan and did not let kalabagh dam be made ,so that pakistan always remains under india,s control

the thing is that their is a large amount of mistrust between provinces and particularly towards Punjab because KPK Govt. wasnt even recieving their Royalty of Mangla or tarbella dam from from Punjab where most of its water were used+ where most of electricity generated were used so based on that fact when one province is kind of robbing other this kind of situation would come....Even I dont think Kala Bagh Dam could be able to save KPK from that cause River Kabul has been flooded which is coming from Afghanistan instead of Kashmir or Gilgit Baltistan so this flood was from River Kabul where Kalabagh dam has no use...

you are saying that kpk govt was not receiving royalty of tarbela and mangla dam and punjab ate that, etc etc
first get your general knowledge right.mangla dam is not in kpk or nwfp! mangla dam is in azad kashmir so why would kashmir people give their royalty to frontier?
secondly kpk or frontier did get royalty of tarbela.it was in billions.but anp corrupt leaders wont spend anything on your province,be warned

when punjab govt last year sent trucks full of wheat to frontier province when there was very worse water shortage than you people did not even say thanks.at that time in punjab itself people had wheat shortage.punjabs lands feeds wheat to whole pakistan and never has demanded royalty on anything ,so you people should also broaded your hearts a bit.the fact is that per capita punjab gets the least amount of water by irsa.check it out.
