The people of Egypt have no patience. They were paralized for last 40 years of Military dictatorship under Hosni Mubarack and there was not a soul who stood out and protested his brutality. Mubarack ruled almost 40 years without any problem. kept most of his opponents in prison , took American Aid, didn't bother asking Isrealis for the massacre of Palestinians, promoted corruption . These were all kosher in yesterday's Egypt. But now, the elected President is toppled again within a year. These politicians collaborated with Army and Judiciary and made a mockery out of themselves. Anyone with fairness would say that no one alone could clean up the mess of last 40 years within one year. Most of Egyptians are dishonest people. Most of them carry criminal intentions. They are corrupt like Pakis or even more corrupt than our people. what they are going to do ? change the leader every year ? I bet you this corrupt Army has tasted the blood of power before and it is not going to let the power lose again. This Elbaradi is a puppet and I do not think he can deliver what he says. The whole country is a mess like Pakistan but with very serious issues. I think Egyptians made a terrible choice. Only time will prove them wrong , and the time is relentless.

Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood made a terrible mistake by forging an alliance with the West and its regional puppets. The Brotherhood has become a tool of the Zionist-dominated West, which seeks to divide and conquer the Middle East by fomenting a sectarian civil war between Sunni and Shia Muslims. Shaykh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, once a respected Brotherhood intellectual, has disgraced himself by becoming a spokesman for Zionist-instigated, Saudi-assisted anti-Shia sectarianism.
Muslim Brotherhood should have stop inciting sectarianism, and stand up for Islamic unity.

Perhaps President Morsi thought that if he accepted the Wests dictates to join their war on Syria, keep the Gaza border closed, maintain the Camp David surrender treaty, enslave future generations of Egyptians to the International Monetary Fund, and let the Egyptian Army continue to rule as it did under Mubarak, he would be allowed to add a bit more shariah to the Egyptian civil code.

It was a devils bargain to begin with. And the devil did not even keep the bargain.

Anyway I wonder how this person would feel if someone who belongs to a country like Nigeria or Somalia started judging

With due respect, brother UKpakistani, it's always prudent not to make sweeping remarks on any matter, especially on the one you don't even have a rudimentary knowledge about. What you have done in your post is tantamount to playing flukes and making airy conjectures.

For your kind information, I have written the comment on Egyptians after having a 'privilege' to 'live' with/among them for more than 13 years...and during all these past years, I have met, talked and had discussions with people who are EGYPTIANS and know the nature of their 'common mob' inside out. It's only after going through these 'live' and 'authentic' resources that I dared opine on the most 'recent' development in Egypt.

As for Pakistan, Egyptians hate Pakistan as a country...They mark PAKISTAN as an 'eternal slave' to America and that's why when Hillary Clinton visited Egypt a few months back, the Egyptians were carrying posters at the Airport:

" Don't even think that we are 'another Pakistan'."

Anyway, if my own country is not in good shape, it doesn't say that I should close my eyes to the rest of the world. Only an OSTRICH would do that. The world has become a global village and every muslim country, including Pakistan, would have some effect or the other of what happened and is happening in Egypt.

I think the way you ask the state to impose laws and deal with druggies, I am wondering if you accept Taliban and their law, it would effectively remove every ounce of the drug from the streets of Pakistan. Then , you would complain living under draconian laws. The truth is human being never satisfied no matter what one can do. Well, for the time being, lick the dripping honey from western hole. The slave is used to it too much.
