The Rawalpindi Police have registered another FIR against Imtiaz alias Taji Khokhar, and his aides for wounding a young man at Dhoke Gangal over the controversy of a piece of land, police said.
Mst. Naheed Akhtar, wife of Mohammad Babar, lodged a complaint with the Airport Police Station, stating that on April 24 Taji Khokhar along with about 20 gunmen, including Mazhar alias Majhu, Farrukh Khokhar, Umar Khokhar, Saleem Shaukat and Imran tortured her son Faizan Babar over a property dispute. According to her, the accused shot at him, but luckily he survived.
The Airport Police confirmed the registration of the FIR against Taji Khokhar and his aides, saying that an FIR (No. 408) has been lodged against Taji Khokhar, Mazhar alias Majhu, Farrukh Khokhar, Umar Khokhar, Saleem Shaukat, Imran and others on May 6 at 8:20 p.m. on the complaint of Mst. Naheed Akhtar, wife of Mohammad Babar, under Sections 324, 148 and 149 of the PPC and started conducting raids to arrest those nominated in the FIR.
It is worth mentioning here that the Airport Police had registered an FIR (No. 643) against nine men, including Taji Khokhar, Umar Khokhar, Farrukh Khokhar, Irfan alias Nikku, Anwar-ul-Haq, Ramzan, Saghir, Hassan Shah and Imran under Sections 302, 148, 149, 324 and 427 of the Pakistan Penal Code in a case relating to the killing of Mst. Sabra Bibi over a land dispute at Dhoke Gangal. While, the Koral Police, Islamabad, had registered an FIR (No. 41) against Taji Khokhar, Imran, Sajid, Tanvir, Rashed and under Sections 302/34 and 109 of the PPC on the complaint of Ishtiaq-ul-Saleheen in a
case relating to the killing his son Khalid Farooq on February 19 over a dispute relating to 150 kanals of land near Ghori Town.
