You are right there could be an element of truth somewhere in there because its basically tradition but how do we know which elements? If it really was that important wouldn't Allah would have told us? Alos traditions change and evolve slowly overtime and sometime people just make up their own tradition out of the blue.No need to invent any new system of Rakahs or being super creative, there could an element of truth somewhere. But always question/check whatever you're supposed to recite especially if it goes against basic concept of monotheism

What I am trying to say is how do you know the modified sunni system you are following even existed? That's the same thing that I tried to say. Read once again what I said about Tashahud and Durood earlier . Prostration and Dhikr are mentioned in The Holy Qur'an that's why I am optimistic about them.

Or perhaps people have tainted Islam with their rituals? Even the Quran warns us that the people of the book will try to persuade you towards them.HHMMMMM, just being skeptical or optimistic . Moreover if many amongst us see any similarities with Jewish, Christian or Hindu methods of worship then feel that perhaps there's some divine connection . Just my guess
No the real question is why do you deny last rites to your OWN dead family members? This question should have been posed to the followers of Hadith.
Ok that is why you denied last rites to your dead ones?Or perhaps people have tainted Islam with their rituals?
Oh! The filthy cult following rat came out of the gutter again. No the real question is why do you deny last rites to your OWN dead family members?
You're making your own dead family members in your house rotting like rats by denying their salat ul janazah and ghusl.Oh! The filthy cult following rat came out of the gutter again.
Worry about your parents, I feel sorry for them that they bore a cult following son. observer-xWake up Pak Why do you do that to your own parents? Don't they deserve a ritual dua from you for all they did for you throughout their lives?
Do some charity (sadqa jaria) on behalf of your parents. Make dua for them. Read Quran and send its reward to them.Worry about your parents, I feel sorry for them that they bore a cult following son. observer-x
Its a ritual tradition to bury the dead and you're telling everybody Pervaizis don't bury their dead ones?So tradition is not always right.
