Zaid hamid is spot on with all the conditions, Pakistani's are the slaves of India and
America. India controls our water, drys us up whenever it wants and floods us
during monsoon season. Pakistan has become a hopeless country, only thing

1- Crazy talk - it was a dictator Ayub Khan who made the water treaty with India (Fatima Ali Jinnah is on record saying that he has given India complete control). Since Ayub Khan is a Khaki Zaid Sahib won't take his name. Other then that Pakistan needs electricity right now and will avail ANY sources. Our industries are closed down and our citizens are without jobs. How the hell will buying electricity from India will legalize those dams only the devious mind of ZH knows.
2- No one is forcing the farmer to buy genetically enhanced seeds (though armchair scholars like him are always blaming the Muslims of not being scientific advanced enough and how America and West has much better harvest per acre because of same modified seeds). Farmers will buy what they think will give better returns.
3- IMF terms have to be accepted this won't change if we put ZH in-charge. That said no 'mega' projects have been stopped by IMF till now as they are ONLY interested in the returns and NS has signed new agreements with China without a peep coming out of IMF.
4- The organs which have become a liability on nation and nation spends billions on these organs every year. Before sale of PTCL same fools were declaring that Pakistan is being sold and PTCL sale is the greatest threat to Pakistan, what happened then? Things are still moving ahead, Pakistan is not spending millions on PTCL (actually earning) and most of all citizens are being provided a better service. He should ask people how difficult it was to get a common telephone connection before PTCL was privatized.
5- Rupee is being devalued because we are printing new money every day and we are printing new money every day because we have crippling subsidies. Secondly Shaukat Aziz deliberately devalued Rupee so Pakistani goods were more attractive in international Market. America is currently crying that China is deliberately devaluating its own currency to keep the competition out. By some estimates Chinese Yen is some 30% devalued at the moment.
6- Aman ke Asha will never become a foreign policy tool, it has nothing to do with foreign policy. Musharraf used the excuse that Kargil was fought for Kashmir then we watched him following Vajpai for a handshake. We won't touch Kashmir unless we are back on our feet.
7- Nothing is being destroyed, traders and farmers are a huge vote bank and no political govt can survive that. Please also mention China and how much the balance f trade favors China in Pak-China trade. Only a Khaki can make such a move because he can't care less about public.
8- Yes no Mega Dams unless there is public support from all provinces.
9- Was he deaf and dumb when Musharraf brought in Shaukat Aziz (a real banker from a Jewish organization)? Governor has no power the viceroy of Pakistan have been Khaki lately.
