We are already in the mess of all our problems primarily because of being under the formidable influence of America. Pervaiz Musharraf against the popular will of the people of Pakistan became an ally of America. He offered our army, our resources, our airports and our soil for use by the foreign invaders in Afghanistan.
Contrary to providing protection to our own citizens, he allowed drone attacks in Waziristan which have now increased hundred times more than when Musharraf allowed Americans to do that.
Consequence is Pakistan is confronting a reaction of its own citizens.His policy to become a front-line ally in the American-led war against terrorism is back-firing.It will not be incorrect to say Musharraf irrationally converted a peace-loving nation of Pakistanis a nation of mercenaries ' Aik Kraye Ki Qaatil Qaum' just for (1) American dollars (2) his cowardice and (3) to prolong and strengthen his 'presidency' in Pakistan. Otherwise he could easily declare himself a neutral in all this war of others against its own brothers and eternal neighbours.
Americans are under a huge influence of our ever-lasting enemy:India. One of the aims of this war was and is to fetter Pakistan - being a nuclear nation. Now as a result of Pakistan being a nuclear nation - our enemies who-so-ever they are - are not in a position to fight a direct war against Pakistan. They don't want Pakistan should be in an asserting position and get resolved its disputes through peaceful means or through the deterrence of being nuclear. Musharraf had a long spell of un-threatened rule spreading over about 9 years just because of the nuclear strength of the country. He was purposely brought into the folder of being an ally of this war of others to find ways to weaken or at least to confuse the strategic strength of the country. Americans, Indians and all others are successful in doing that. Now situation has worsened. Now our own citizens are being used to spread terror inside Pakistan. We had a bitter experience in East Pakistan by using force against our own citizens.Our enemy is using the same tactics but not letting us awakened to reality. What are drone attacks - same thing under barbs of Americans. Who do not know - this is against the sovereignty of Pakistan. Musharraf was child enough not to understand or he deliberately did it. Some people claim he is not a muslim but a mirzai. It is true he has the habit of telling lies like Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani had.
In his speeches he keeps on changes his stances from one to the other.
He gave no policy statement.
Everything he says is ultimately based on his revengeful thinking against his political rivals in Pakistan especially Nawaz Sharif.
He does not / did not respect the honour which was given to Dr. Abdul Qadir by the nation as a 'Mohsan-e-Pakistan'.
He speaks about the Murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti. Why does not he failed to bring about a political solution of the Baluchistan problems instead of brutally killing a Baloch leader. He must admit the murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti and present himself for trial. In fact, he is following the example of Mr. Zardari.
Perhaps he is the horse, on which the Americans lost previously and once again they are going to invest on him.If God-forbidden, this happens, this is not a good omen for the future of Pakistan. Pakistanis must know a muslim must not be snaked from the same hole twice.
About Dr. Aafia he says he was completely unaware of her. Only he knew about her from the press. It is tragic and ridiculous that he was head of the state and he did not know about.Irony is he does not speak more than this. You were an ally of America. Even when you came to know about it what did you do. Is it anywhere on earth, an offence is alleged to have been committed in one country and it is tried in another country. Why he does not say what happened with Aafia Siddeiqui was unfair, he had every sympathy with her and trying his best to get her quitted. At least she is our daughter. A person like Bush killed millions in Iraq and Afghanistan and became a hero and no trial - quite strange is not it.
The whole world knows he broke the constitution of Pakistan twice. He came into power from the back door. Now we will see how difficult it is to get into power through legal means.
What he did with the judges - how he destroyed the institutions of the country is no more a mystery. Cleverness was he did every wrong but left nothing back in black and white.
It is true he is going to be an other Altaf Hussain.
If he is brave enough, he should deliver his speeches in his likely constituencies in Pakistan. I advise him don't do a rat politics.
