RAWALPINDI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) today ordered Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to confiscate property of former president Pervez Musharraf and freeze his bank accounts.
The ATC issued this order while hearing the Benazir Bhutto murder case inside Adiala Jail today (Saturday).
The ATC also issued Musharrafs arrest warrant, after formally declaring him a proclaimed offender. The hearing was held inside the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
The court was told that DHA and GHQ were requested to provide more information about the property of the former president but no respond was received.
The court was informed that details already submitted to the court about Musharrafs property are final.
It also ordered confiscation of Musharrafs Islamabad farmhouse and other property in Gwadar.
Pervez Musharraf maintains accounts in eight banks, having credit of $190, 000.
The court also ordered that Musharrafs bank accounts be frozen. SAMAA
