RAWALPINDI: Anti-terrorist court (ATC) has ordered the confiscation of former president Pervez Musharrafs tangible assets i.e property, bank accounts, etc. in Benazir Bhutto murder case, Geo News reported Saturday.

The decision was made after a FIA report containing information regarding the assets of the former president was presented before the court.

FIA officials informed the court that Musharraf owned a farm house in Chak Shahzad, Islamabad and a plot in the Gwadar Housing Society. While his bank accounts contained Rs 80.90 million.

Is court ko Nawaz or zardari ki property or cases nazr nhi ate or unke khilaf to bak bak k elawa kuch nhi kr sakte,,,,Pak ka sch mein Allah ki Hafiz,,,,,MUsharraf phobia hai is court ko,,,,In courts ne pak ko swae nawaz or zardari k corruption cases ko cover dene k kuch nhi kiya,,,,,,,,,Agher yehi baat hai to zardari pe salman taseer or shahbaz bhatti ka case bi chalao,,,,,Khuda aise logon ko gharit kre jinhon ne mulk ka yeh haal kiya hai

RAWALPINDI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) today ordered Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to confiscate property of former president Pervez Musharraf and freeze his bank accounts.

The ATC issued this order while hearing the Benazir Bhutto murder case inside Adiala Jail today (Saturday).

The ATC also issued Musharrafs arrest warrant, after formally declaring him a proclaimed offender. The hearing was held inside the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.

The court was told that DHA and GHQ were requested to provide more information about the property of the former president but no respond was received.

The court was informed that details already submitted to the court about Musharrafs property are final.

It also ordered confiscation of Musharrafs Islamabad farmhouse and other property in Gwadar.
Pervez Musharraf maintains accounts in eight banks, having credit of $190, 000.

The court also ordered that Musharrafs bank accounts be frozen. SAMAA

Pakistan court orders seizure of Musharrafs property - Dawn Report

RAWALPINDI: A Pakistani court on Saturday ordered the confiscation of former president Pervez Musharrafs property and the freezing of his bank accounts in the country, a prosecutor said.
Musharraf, who lives in self-imposed exile in London and Dubai, is wanted over the 2007 murder of ex-premier Benazir Bhutto. Prosecutors issued an arrest warrant in February over what they said was his failure to provide her with enough security.
The court today ordered the confiscation of Pervez Musharrafs property and the freezing of his bank accounts in Pakistan, public prosecutor Chaudhry Azhar told AFP after a hearing Saturday.
The value of Musharrafs assets in the country is not known, but he owns properties including two residential flats, a farmhouse in Islamabad and land that is under development in Baluchistan.
The hearing took place in Adiyala prison, in the garrison town of Rawalpindi, and was adjourned until September 10.
The former president and military ruler is alleged to have been part of a broad conspiracy to have his political rival killed before elections, though the exact nature of the charges against him has not so far been made clear.
Bhutto was killed after addressing an election campaign rally in the garrison city of Rawalpindi, near the capital Islamabad, on December 27, 2007.
At the time, Musharrafs government blamed the assassination on the chief of the Pakistani Taliban, Baitullah Mehsud, who denied any involvement.
Mehsud was killed in a US drone attack in August 2009, one of the most high-profile casualties of the covert American campaign targeting Al-Qaeda and its allies in Pakistans lawless tribal belt on the Afghan border.
Bhutto, who served two terms as prime minister, had returned from exile two months before she was killed to stand for election.
Her widower Asif Ali Zardari led her Pakistan Peoples Party to election victory in February 2008 and is now president.

But ye ek murder ka case hai aur baar baar bulanay per bhi Musharraf court main paish ni hua... iss k baad wou Ishtihari declare ho jata hai....aur uss ki property confiscate ho jati hai until he comes back and face court. Chor hai tou bhaga phir rha hai... Tum jese logon k liyay kaafi sharam ki baat hai k courts ko iss tarah abuse kartay hou... wese Musharraf k followers ho, tou ussi k Naksh-e-Kadam pe chal rhay ho tum bhi.... have some shame..
