A lot has been said on other threads in this regard but I thought of making a separate thread on comparison between Russian and Western Fighter Jet Technology. This video is a part of a documentary made by Americans and has a realistic and factual content.

You said it rite. There are many more aspects but if one tries to eliminate less important aspects to shorten the list to only two, then "advance technology" and "practicality" remain there to rival each other. And like everything known to world about Americans and Russians, advance technology and practicality are respective trade marks of these nations.
