سچ ہمیشہ کڑوا ہوتا ہے ، مگر اب نوروں کو سچ سننا پڑے گا .
Yardstick to measure sincerity and morality of the leadership and ruling parties as per my limited assessment seems to be
1- If they hold impartial, free and fair Local body elections in first quarter of their term's beginning.
2- Devolving power and funds to the people to enable the common man so he does not have to come begging for justice or petty issues to the doorstep of the rulers.
3- Corruption free top tier leadership including all ministers, their family members and friends.
4- Implementation of merit in appointments and award of contracts with out nepotism and Cronyism.
5- Special emphasis towards health, education and security of common citizen.
6- Impartial tax policy for all segments of the society especially those outside tax net such as business community, big farmers and other tax evaders.
7- Computerization of all lands and related issues like transfer of deeds, dispute resolution and revenue collection on lands and properties.
Even if half of the above mentioned points are fulfilled by any provincial government I believe it will bring a very pleasant change in the lives of a common man like me.
But I am not very optimistic with any of the provincial governments except maybe the KPK government that they want to adopt or execute this small but vital punch list.
