I think you get angry very quickly, this is a question I had asked, which I take it you have answered that you don't praise him which means you consider him the same as Luqman.

I have said, though, that his programs in 2008 in relation to "war on terror" had a sudden change in tone and rhetoric and it suddenly became pro-war. Not just him, but even Hamid Mir was guilty of this (who has become overtly anti-establishment and ISI's dirty tricks these days). I understand communications and understood that this hype of 2008 was being created to rally people to support operations in Swat etc. There were only a few people (I could perhaps count them on the fingers of just one hand) who didn't fall for this bluff. Imran Khan and Ansar Abbasi are 2 of them.

All kinds of nonsensical tripe (including stupid videos of flogging etc) was being disseminated to mould public opinion and almost all of Pakistan was falling for it. I know for a fact that Talat and Hamid Mir were reluctant in 2008, but this is why I just despise 'patriotism' (which is such a subjective concept). The whole 'pakistaniyat' at the time dictated that you support the army to go into Swat and its adjacent areas otherwise you were just a terrorist supporter! Talat LIED. Can he admit this fact? The guy has never even apologized for it! Please don't get me wrong, but I really, really like him. But I can't excuse him for flatly lying in a fit of patriotism that led to displacement of hundreds of thousands and destruction of their livelihoods.

Nothing validates the organized and institutionalized lying that we so often see in Pakistan. Hum log itnay jaahil hain that we say "Oh Mansoor Ijaz is a compulsive liar because he is a Qadiyani". Now that the Supreme Court's investigation has found the memo to be the handiwork of Hussain Haqqani then where are our claims now about Mansoor Ijaz? Yeh halaat hai hum musalmanon kay - a qadiyani is more truthful than us!

Ohh no not at all, you were very logical even about IK, I'm a crazy supporter of PTI (not just IK) but still I think you had very valid points.

How can I praise a person who talk against Allama Iqbal, Dr Abdul Qadir, or CJ etc.......

But being a political worker one has to be dealing with such people. Imran called straight away to Hasan Nisar after PTI Jalsa in Quetta. Now you will ask why did Imran do it?

I don't think I would be lounging around here if i was moving around in the power corridors - i am here cuz i don't know anyone ;-)

Not sure why people say that they know it all but fail to mention anything since they are anonymous - but then again some are keeping so many state secrets that if they shared those secrets then they would have to kill themselves ;-)

Hamid Mir standing tall amidst allegations

One of the few anchors who grabbed the bull by its horns and despite allegations that he has some links with Riaz, he has been the most vocal anchor person against him.

Although many people dont like him here, I think he is one of the most couragous TV anchor around. He has stuck with the CJ in the worst of times and has put his opponents to shame.

Good on Hamid Mir for raising the Balochistan, Missing person case and now CJ case on his show.

No wonder capital talk is the highest rated talk show in the country !
