Can MQM and PTI be united?

MQM can become an ally of any party that is in power.

Any party out of the power corridors is not a viable alliance partner for MQM.

Have you ever thought on why is that? Because they are not powerful enough opposition and they can be easily set aside. Only thing MQM can do is shutting down Karachi but that also goes against them. If Karachi is shutdown and there is a considerable support in other cities of Pakistan as well? Then I will see who can set MQM aside.. No government will be able to ignore Karachi as the case right now.

And I would like to reiterate one thing, that the people who are supporting PTI from Karachi now, are naraz MQM voters because MQM was not able to live up to their expectations, they will prefer to sit in their homes, but will never vote for mullah diesel type entities or family limited companies, Jamat Islami has a small vote bank in Karachi which will always be like the way it is.. If Imran Khan stands from Karachi in the Pathan popluated area, he will win, but MQM candidate won't..

I am not talking about sharing Karachi seats within Urban Sind. I am saying PTI represents Sindh in National Assembly and MQM represents Sindh in Provincial/Local. The point is not making the Govt. The point is to create a pressure group so that Karachi is not left out from the National equation. Even if PTI does not make government in the center but I am sure it will create hell of an opposition to whoever forms govt. These mullah diesel type entities will be wiped out. What I have seen in my lifetime is that Karachi's voice is nowhere there in the National politics. MQM is always thought of as an "ilaqaai" party and *they* are ok with giving 20 odd seats to MQM and keep them on the side.

If Nawaz and Zardari can form a govt together, as it was done in the start of PPP term, why not MQM and PTI? There is no friendship in politics, either allies or opponents.

For some reason, I like to believe that PTI plus MQM can become a deadly combination for the corrupt elite of Pakistan.

Every thing is possible in Pakistan. Now, PPP and PML(N) allies to one another ; in the past
they were rivals. If PTI leaders make decision to be ally of MQM , I have no objection.
