If you really want to see how many people support each party, isn't an election a better way to measure that then a jalsa?

Although looking at recent survey results I can understand why PMLN's kampain are tanging everytime someone says the E word.

I think PTI should wake up and do a day light jalsa to prove their numbers. No more night jalsa with cell phone lights!

Jalsas are no measure of any election popularity, some jalsas are full with people who come to eat, some are full with workers from other cities and so on. If we go by jalsas, no one does bogger gatherings than the so called religious parties but they never get even 5% of the seats.
Best is to hold elections and let the popularity of every party/leader be known.
