The west is testing Muslims and we can answer by boycotting their products, please join in the boycott and do not buy their products as they understand the language of money.

If this is true then we should not only boycot their products but also send them e-mails to let them know that it is not appreciated neither beoming of a big company like theirs.

bhai,
Atleast give a reason for your call to boycott these companies...

The inscription you see at the back of the shoe is how you write Allah in Arabic, something you will not know for obvious reasons. This is why I said Muslims are being tested as these kind of cheap tactics are directed at us who can read and write Arabic.

Actually, this incident took place some time between 1995 -1997.

Upon concerns showed by the muslim community, Nike took these shoes off the shelves right away and apologized.

In summary, this is a very old story and the picture is also an old one.

I knew that b4 I posted this but this is news for some brothers and sisters who are not well informed like you guys (although when this took place can be found out once you google for it!!!) - apologies as I didn't realise that blasphemy had an age limit.

I would be happier if you'd said you'd stop buying their products, it would mean I would have done my job....

--Brother,couldn't agree more (you can count me in),and we must all unite in this effort to boycott collectively not just theirs but all those companies ( products of any specific country) who wish harm to muslims and deliberately spread hatred against Islam :D

sher khan congrats on your 400th post :)

Thanks PL.

I hope you were not offended by my post. I thought that I should clarify the timeline of the incident before a non-muslim jumps on it.

Also, I think the more important issue was that I could have never figured out i a million years that the logo said nike. Hence there was a clear intent by the designer to be abusive. What happened to the designer?

@ Sher Khan, no offence taken brother, look the point I wanted to make is that when it comes down to Palestine the West says its a very old 'real estate' issue and does not carry any value yet for holocaust denial (just as old issue and alot exaggerated if not a lie) they have worst punishment then rape and murder. We Muslims are most meligned although we are 1.57bn in number and command a bulk of natural resources of the world, attributes that should count for the right things.
