if the property was in the name of jamima and bought by jamaima then how was it benami, and now if the property is in the name of Ik then how is it benami :) kuch thora sa logic dalo apni bat mein.

Its frustrating but I guess PTIers should be ready for even worse that is yet to come. This is just the media but the the status quo parties will throw the kitchen sink at PTI - this is nothing compared to whats in store in the days to come.
What can we say - as with everything in our country the media people are not very professional or smart. They will go after people that they can go after - they will not have the guts or the will to go after Makhdoom Amin Fahim to see how he received the "benami" money in his account - its a ready made story that will never be exposed by the media or how the corruption happened in RPPs by raja pervaiz ashraf who is indicted by the SC - or how sharifs accumulated their wealth and how they benefitted themselves while they were in the office and enriched themselves and their businesses.
To me PTI may not be a group of angels and supposedly this amir kiyani is a cheater - the thing is that he is not using public's money - the corruption thats killing us is the public's money being stolen and used to enrich people in power. The poor people in media can't go after the corruption committed by the powerful in this country - such as feudal or big industrialist or big business politicians or the military people when they are in power. They are literally scared for their lives.
They will go after these unimportant stories since anything to talk about PTI is considered rating booster these days.
I will say it again the worse is yet to come......this is just the start.....from what i can tell there are a lot of people working on lot of angles

What a hypocracy it is.Even if for a sec we say he is nawaz pithu does that give right to imran to use public money for his own benefits?come on man grow up. Everything is either being done from public money or is coming from illegal channels to imran. If its not true why dont they show records?

I am all for accountability for all and for PTI too. I think that media people are thinking that they are on to something which is basically nothing.
Yes the word benami is in that document but what the media is missing is reaching out to reach the person who prepared that document and get if clarified.
I have got affidavit done is pakistan - most of the time the lawyers as with many other professions are not very professional - they still use the cryptic lingo that probably has been in use since the british and people just sign it without making an attempt to decipher it. I am the kind of a person who usually trust the person who does this as a living and don't read the documents (my wife hates it as she is detailed oriented and reads every word of a document before she signs it and can't believe that i sign without reading the documents in detail - but i do). I can bet a million dollars that jemima or her high flying lawyers had no idea what 'benami' is. They probably didn't have to - and probably the document had to be notarized and the person just have to make sure the signatory is present and don't always worry about the content of the letter - so when some of the media people claim that its unimaginable that the english lawyers didn't catch the word benami. I live abroad and when my family has to do some land transaction and they need me to provide an affidavit or power of attorney in cryptic 19th century language and i take it to a notary public to get it notarized and then take it to the pakistan embassy to get it notarized too.
Another thing is that the document is in the public domain now - IK's assets and records are supposedly public now and if there is even a hint of impropriety in this deal then the government machinery would come in action and prosecute IK and Jemima. Whats the big fuss - why doesn't PMLN take this matter to the court and get the person they see as public enemy no. 1 in big trouble by proving that he is a crook - wouldn't that be easy? instead of keep banging on the benami word in a document.
1. Benami is not a single term wrong with the document. Jemaima claims that Imo bought the land in her name (thus benami) and on the same basis claims that land should be transferred to Imo's name as they are divorced. That can hardly be called a typo.
2. Imo's tax records are public but that simply means he may have utilized black money which was not declared.
The document is a legal undertaking, if Jamaima lied in it, that would mean a criminal offense both in Pk and UK (I am not sure but this whole thing might could be a way of reducing transfer fee, thought up by the lawyer). Jamiama signed the document, for all practical purposes that is her official position and its legally binding.
Cheema is no fool, he has clearly mentioned Saif and Kayani so now buck won't stop at the lawyer but at these two fellows. Imo should have remained calm but he lost it, Alvi should have tried to salvage the situation but he started to berate the anchor. If this thing blows all out of proportion only PTI is to blame. Did you listen to Alvi? he was told by the anchor that Imo never implied black money when using the term 'benami' Alvi replied that back then Imo did now know that such a term might be used in such a document. With friends like these who needs an enemy.

In the program Umar Cheema said that I have 95% firm belief that IK and Jemima had no knowledge of Benami and IK hmself in the program offered Umar cheema that he can show the records of how the money was transferred from Jemima and was used to purchased the land in bani gala bcoz it was all traceable . . .
The only problem over here is the affidavit , which claims that IK has purchased the land but IK denying it by calling it a Drafting error and if u listened to this program indirectly Umar cheema himself is agreeing to it and his focus is on Amir Kiyani guy who with saif Naizi may have done this intentionelly .
This can clearly be seen from his TWEET . . .

After a long time, I saw this guy's (Absar's) program and convinced that he is another anchor supporting status quo. And when he used a remark similar to what Ahsan Iqbal and other PMLN's propagandists often make against PTI, I was further convinced he is taking the PMLN line now.
The anchor's duty is to ask question easy or tough and let listen the audience the answers and then move for the next question. But here after the question is answered in detail, the anchor is trying to interpret the answer in his own way totally opposite to the answer and then propagating his own fabricated opinion. Such anchors can make status quo parties and their supporters happy but can't change the opinion of PTI supporters.
