actually it will use 25000 km square area (if we use the density standard of 400 trees per hectare )
which is one third ok the KPK total area 75000 Km sq. approximately
33% percent area is used of KPK in one billion trees growth

which is not possible ...to use such a huge area ...I my opinion

Lets say it isnt a billion and say its half that or 75% of the claimed. Isnt that alone an amazing achievement. This is great achievement full stop. It beats buying houses and flats in London anyday of the week.

Yes that looks right ...it is the maximum tree density according to amazon forest standard

read my post above reply to Mr.Akmal ...in my calculation it was 12000 Km sq. which is close.

Newzeland estimated that they required minimum of 800,000 hectare(8000 sq km), bring hilly area to factor in case of KPK things goes further down. Your initial post said KPK need 25000 sq km which is way off the actual area required

The other great achievement of the project is to give local nurseries business and whicg create jobs in rural areas.
In Punjab trees are more scarce than honest Nooras. This is a great achievement even if they have exaggerated the numbers. I hope they go further and develop it more.

See we are not forestry experts, I am not sure we can use Amazon forests values as base values. We are not sure which type of trees gives certain density in given area. You should also keep in mind Amazon is tropical forest whereas KPK is nowhere near tropics. We are comparing two difficult terrain.
I use New Zealand project as reference point for KPK. The numbers they have given is make KPK effort very plausible and when International organization applaud the it, I do not see what else we need to accept and appreciate the effort and accomplishment.
