Fairy tales, USSR were against all the capitalist states nothing to do with war in Afghanistan, the disintegration of USSR was because it had to feed its satellites with oil n technology, Russian federation took a wise decision and identified itself with western Europe, so what if they lost their status as super power, the standard of living of an ordinary Russian has risen manifold after disintegration and same is also true for all the independent states that came into being after its break up. But where is Afghanistan now one of the poorest states in the world and hub of violence. i don't know why people still believe in this mirage of Afghans being the victors, ordinary Afghan had hell to pay for all the stories of valor and bravery stories that we seem to be proud of throwing at everybody

آپکی بات درست ہے لیکن مرکز بحث افغانستان ہے نہ رشیا اور نہ پاکستان- رشیا بھی اس جگہ واپس پہنچ گیا جہاں ١٩١٧ سے پہلے تھا افغانستان کی جنگ سے اور افغانستان بھی تقریبن اتنے سال پیچھے چلا گیا لیکن افغانستان پر قبضہ تو نہیں ہوا اور نہ ہی وہ کٹ پتلے رہ گئے جو افغانستان میں سوویت کے وقت میں تھے بلکہ نئی قوت طالبان وجود میں آگئے - اب امریکا کے جانے کے بعد بھی یہی ہوگا کٹ پتلوں کا خاتمہ اور نئی طاقت کا آغاز جو طالبان یا ان سے بھی زیادہ اگے ہونگیں:lol:​
