All this exploration cost is considered as sunk cost ...invested by oil exploration companies..... there is not a single penny which govt. spend on it.

What a pathetic response. How would you know unless you try. Grow out of patwari mentality.

Not a sad day for the industry though. This keeps happening. There were 21 test drilling expeditions since 1971 in Kekra region. Everyone sought the same fate. So, in oil and gas industry, it is "Business as Usual".

Though, the PTI followers are going to mourn as this expedition was hyped so much.... it was like we are going to hit the O&G Jackpot. PTI's media cell will have to work hard today :D

And that is why friends we dont hype things up before they happen. A classic case of dont count your chickens before they hatch
