You see the point I am Trying to reach is Pakistan Army has done wrong No Army In This World has done right They all Did things they are not proud of Pakistan is no exception. But has the civil leadership not done wrong either? 5 years of zardari speak volume and new government is even more useless as time progresses.

Ultimately its simple do we stick with our own designs or the designs of other nations. Wrong will be done and Right will be done if the wrong was done in small proportions but it hurt everyone then it will out weigh the good done in a lager sum its fact. But do we allow foreign desires to thrive vs our desires and believe me Pakistan is a target on a Global level for the ambitious enemy powers that exist.

From a principle position, no one disagree with you and you are also well-meaning which must be admired.

BUT

One can stopping doing wrong anytime and more so, one can apologize and stop insisting on doing more wrongs and proving the blatant wrongs as rights.

Here is an excerpt from a rather long piece I wrote on the topic.

I have never been in any doubt that first and foremost, it was the incompetency (corruption entered into the picture much later) of the politician which let Generals encroach upon their territory. But what the generals have delivered or given to this nation of ignorant fools? Just compare their performance with their ilk in other countries like Turkey and Indonesia. Had they given only one thing to this nation...only the education........these generals would have built a NATION and not been taking the flak from people like me on a place like this and many more........thanks to social media enabled by IT."

I often feel u and people like u who vigorously defend GHQ and ISI on this forum are directly related to someone in ur respective families who are higher up in the army.

I don't mean to be personal with anyone on this forum until someone provokes me and hope u also dont take it personally. I respect ur position and views on many issues. But unfortunately on this one we strongly differ. So, we should take it in a decent way.

There is a miss @Amna Rizvi on this Forum, she claims that her father was an Army Officer :), but have a look on her quotes. So it is not important relatives work in army or not.

I understand her angle also and resulting ire very well............and it is a sectarian angle. I think we both can understand why she would say things which she is saying from that angle and she is entitled to her opinion. But personally I dont have any sectarian angle to this issue.

Thanks for top comment. I have a simple answer which is General Public In Pakistan. It is all good showing your intellect here but will the masses on Pakistan streets agree or disagree is important not cyber space although it has become important in this age but common man on the street is the real power. With The Armed Forces Abuse threads opeing at rapid pace it is only possible in cyber world not the street world.

But that is then interfering in Civil matters. Military Matters a civilian does not interfere but surely that is one of the points you raised earlier being too politicized. As far my knowledge I haven't heard that Army interfered in elections.

Army did try, via Musharraf/Shaukat Aziz/Arif Habib to buy Steel Mills (for dirt cheap.. that is less than the price of the scrap that is stored at steel millls). Thankfully, supreme court stepped in and stopped the transfer!!
