My take on this whole subject is Muslims in India are not getting fair chance there are exemptions and exceptions for the Muslims and in many states they are like second class citizen
and what happened in Gujrat under modi very shameful but this is worlds bigest democrecys real face that in the west govts are color blind when it comes to a country where Muslims are in minorty but we feel the pain for our Brothers and Sisters living in India may Allah protect them Aameen.

I am extremely proud to have been born in a open, free ancient and multicultural society like India. I am not happy to see the condition of Muslims. I hope they get better opportunities. Government should waste no time to bring projects and plans to improve their position in all fields like police, defense& psu. Recently things are changing and they are changing quite rapidly. Situation of Muslim was very poor even from British time, they have not been made worse by Hindus. One of my friend who is in Indian army said there has been large increase in the recruitment of Muslims since 2007. Similar things are happening in other fields. I have great hope from new generation. India is bound for greatness and whole world sees this except some uneducated Pakistanis. Pakistanis should worry more for their own minorities which is on the verge of extinction. Indian Muslims are Indian first and Indians are working hard to improve the situation of our fellow Muslim minorities.

I believe we all are proud of being born in our homelands respectively, all of these countries are rich, equivalent to India or may be better, But question could be rose, why you were force to live overseas though you were born in open, ancient and multicultural society. The answer is very clear, corrupt political system, which pushed their human resource to lived overseas including Pakistan & India. I don't think its your business to decide a fate of religion on the basis of your impartial knowledge, If you could read the Quran with meanings, you will come to know the reality, Its not surprising if Muslims are joining Indian arm forces this is basic right to join any field, So I don't think you could portrayed this issue as an accomplishment of Indian Government, Likewise every minority is enjoying their best perks in Pakistan too, and it will be a useless argument if you would persist on one or couple of examples, we could brought more examples of Indian system injustice as well, Indian Muslims are first Indian like wise Pakistani Hindus are first Pakistanis and achieving their goals successfully, My colleagues and personal friends, who are non Muslims but they are Pakistanis and their accomplishments always make us proud. I am wondering, you happened to be overseas, but behaving and pretending as a close minded person, who just want to criticize own neighbor, but doesn't like to look at their own.

dear brother,
nice to hear from you. I agree with most of what you said above.
Regarding religion,
I don't think I said anything regarding religion above. I don't want to comment about religion with my partial knowledge. When I talked about Muslim I am talking about them as a group and I am not talking about islam. My knowledge of kuran is getting better all the time. Unlike many muslims (in this forum) I have respect for the world 2 nd largest religion. I can see a reason why more than 1 billion Muslims passionately follow their faith. As I told you earlier I am impressed by lots of things written in that book. I try to gain knowledge from everywhere and obviously there is lots o knowledge and wisdom to be gained from kuran.
True Muslims and true Hindus are never a part of problem. I have never seen any true Muslims or Hindu(true= practicing) hurt any other feelings or taken part in riots or instigate hatered. I believe majority of people who debate with us make fun of us or instigate hate against us in this forum are non practicing Muslims. So when I debate with them in this forum I don't think I am debating with Muslim or even a religious person.I understand that we are all imperfect.
The reason why indians from whatever backgrond race or community he is never says anything negative about India is because this is a Pakistani forum and we would like to show our unity when it concerns india's national interest. most of the posts here regarding India are very one sided and don't represent the true picutre. Pakistani friends of this forum are already doing good job of showing the bad things about India . We all know that India is far from perfect it is still extremely poor country. We have huge problems and we debate harshly regarding this in Indian forums. We are also proud of Indian achievements after all half a century ago we were slaves of brits.
India is changing rapidly and it warms my heart to see this rapid change.
When you talk about minorities in India and Pakistan it is a completely different scenario . Minorities in Pakistan is less than 2% . There is a pakistan inside India in terms of population. I have never mate any hindu from Pakistan but would love to know how they feel living there. I will be very happy if they are treated well and fell secure. I can bet any Indian in this forum however harsh his comments are deep in his heart he wishes well for Pakistan and wants to live in peace with Pakistan. More than 10's million Indians are living overseas as India couldn't provide opportunities for it's educated masses. Things are changing nowand when I talk with young graduates in oz many of them are looking forward to go back home where they can expect decent wages and opportunity and much better lifestyle. They are not as insecure as they were decade for getting permanent residency. One of my close friend moved to India she is earning 85000 rs per month and loves it over there. She can afford maids, servants etc and relax atmosphere etc. Sometimes even I start to wonder.

Thanks for posting this debate, only by debating on these vital issues we will start to solve the problem of minorities In India.
