Yes, indeed, in order to get money for Karachi MQM supported a dictator. You know why? because your beloved elected politicians were not ready to give any penny to Karachi - rather they were imosing army operations and killing extra judicially the youth of Karachi. To get money from a dictator just to bring some decency to the lives of Pakistanis is a smaller crime than to support the same dictator for the very personal interests. I can remind everyone what others did during Musharaf era and supported him:
Just see the list here and deny or ignore (as you will surly do), but other readers will not deny these facts:

1- After October 12, 1999 army take over, Supreme Court Of Pakistan endorsed the coup (Iftikhar Ch. was one of the member in the verdict).
2- Iftikhar Choudhary and other judges took PCO oath under a dictators orders.
3- Musharaf announced the Referandum, Imran Khan along with others took part in it and supported Musharaf.
3- Nawaz Sharif made a deal with the same dictator, signed a contract and flee from the country with whole family and servants.
4- Musharaf went on war against terror, PPP and ANP supported and others including MQM kept quite.
5- The local body elections were held, MQM did not participate because of dictatorship but others did.
6- Every one took part in the general elections of 2002.
7- After the elections MMA, MQM, and PMLQ supported Musharaf in imposing LFO and changing the constitution with 17th ammendment.
8- In 2005, again there were local govt. elections and every one took part in them.
9- In 2007, BB met with Musharaf in Abu Dhabi and signed an NRO and got freedom from all the corruption cases.
10- I admit here MQM was also a beneficiary of NRO. but still the deal was between a dictator and BB.
11- In November 2007, Musharaf imposed emergency and MQM neither supported the emergency nor went with the corrupt lawyer's movement. Because that movement was fully supported by the looter of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and traitor Aitezaz Ahsan. Time has proved that Nawaz Sharif has been freed from all of his cases.
12- If MQM is a criminal in all of these incidents then they must be trialed but how about others? are they above the law?

Okay, this is a long list of Loyalty of the dictator. This is precisely I want you to admit that you would support a,y and z to get the funds and plum posts which come along with the agreement. And obviously MQ has no shame of supporting a dictator and prolonging his stay in power as long as that dictator provided you with money and give you total authority in Karachi to kill and establish your power using every dirty trick in the book. Very first example of that authoritarian power display was the demolishing of Al Hamra Place which the opponents of MQM use as their head office. In order to grab the power centre, it was essential for MQM to either kill or shut up the desending voice from Karachi.Pervaiz Musharraf's government kept its eyes closed while this bloodshed took hold in Karachi. The other example of the show of the power was on 12th MAY.Musharraf in his subsequent speech reminded everyone that the show of power in Karachi was neccessary and his supportes had shown that they control Karachi. He didn't sound sad or felt any shame on the bloodshed on that night.Rather he was sounded jubilant on that day's messecre in the street of Karachi by his alliant party. The Lfo was indeed the present of the Musharraf Government which MQM helped imposed on Pakistani people.During his emergency and when the CJ was in house arrest with his family and kids,MQM kept Musharraf in power and never issued or said anything against this Emergency. Mqm was still with the dictator and everyone knew what MQM is up to.

I like you and MQM supporters to stand up for Musharraf now and defend him in the supreme court. You have a moral obligation to do that since your were the beneficiary of his power and rule. You enjoyed his dictatorship and took advantage of his power to the fullest. But I also know that MQM is run by an opportunist and manipulator sitting in London. He must have been busy measuring the wind direction now.Sooner or later you will all dance on the tune of the piper......[/quote]

If Iftikhar Ch. did not endorse the Musharaf coup,
if Iftikhar Ch. did not take oath on PCO on Musharaf order,
if Imran Khan did not support Musharaf on his refrandum,
if Nawaz Sharif did not sign an agreement with Musharaf and fleed from the country,
if Nawaz Sharif never support any dictator like Zia -ul Haq,
if Choudhary bros. and company did not support Musharaf,
if MMA did not sign LFO and support Musharaf,
if BB did not sign NRO with Musharaf.
THEN MQM ALSO DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG.
MQM has a huge support from Pakistanis, People who support MQM are not SHUDDARS, these pakistanis have same rights as any other paistani, they support MQM and MQM acts according to their will.
This is the essence of democracy.
End of the discussion now.

The only thing I like you to do is to defend Musharraf and his actions in supreme court of Pakistan..... End of the story. Take all the above arguments to the court and tell them to aquit Musharraf for his illegitimit actions.Give them the above reason for your support to the dictator and tell the court that you still like the dictator even after his treason to the constitution and his marshal law of 3rd november only because he provided you the funds from his personal account. I want to see how the court will react on your self generated arguments.Good luck to you and Musharraf.....
