There HYDERABAD: At around 7.30 pm on Friday, the strains of the azan streamed into the Chowmahalla Palace like they do every evening. Only this time, the azan notes blended with those of the song that storyteller-singer Parvathy Baul was rendering to a spellbound audience.

hmm, so by the logic of many here, anyone talking soft about India and not putting down hindus is an agent, or has questionable loyalty. By this token, GEO is one of the biggest indian agent, for it's surely sucking up to indians (mostly hindus)..

and by that token, Ansar Abbasi, Hamid Mir and now Haroon Rashid are also agents-of-agents.. hmm....

Instead of accssing GEO we should be calling our TV channels and tell them that we as Pakistanis will not tolerate any Indians on our Pakistani channels.

Let siasat.pk draft a letter and we all sign and send it to the TV channels.

Very good idea,just one thought ,lets not wait for any one o draft a letter lets write a few lines politely and send it to the tv channels and newspapers.I am already doing it ,need lot more involvement of the country men and women. Please join this effort and make it possible.

Haan, they have disappeared in thin air. may be the jung/TOi was looking publicity for the readership because print media is going out of business due to invention of internet.

It is befuddling to see two faces of India; one face breathing fire and yearning to annihilate Pakistan, and the other singing melodious tunes of peace and friendship. One year before, Indian civil and military leaders were indulging in high pitch saber rattling. Their strike formations had moved up into battle locations and fighter jets had scrambled to strike targets in AJK and Muredke.

Indian media and public were up in arms beating war drums. Divorcing sanity and rationalism, Indian leadership accused Pakistan of its involvement in Mumbai attacks and charge-sheeted it without any shred of evidence. They had refused to listen to any explanation and spurned offer of joint investigation. Whatever one-sided evidence was provided to Pakistan was flimsy and fabricated. They got irritated when lies got exposed but USA and UK covered up their concoctions by fully backing them up and putting the entire blame on Pakistan. Their bellicosity has not died down to this date and they are still bent upon trying to coercively impose their will on Pakistan
