Pakistan tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi rose to a career-best 10th position from 12th with 4080 points in the ATP doubles rankings.Whereas his Indian partner, Rohan Bopanna achieved his career-best rank of 11th from 13th in the ATP doubles chart with 4050 points.Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi are now at number seven in doubles team rankings with 1,575 points.

Aisam enters elite top-10 club - Tennis kay shaukeen - khushkhabri

KARACHI: Pakistan tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi has catapulted himself to number ten in the international doubles rankings.

According to the latest world tennis rankings issued on Monday, Aisam has managed to reach the top ten on the back of a series of positive results on the international circuit. This is the first time that Aisam, who has now established himself as one of the leading doubles players on the international circuit, has entered the elite top-ten club for the first time.

Aisam, who featured in the mens doubles and mixed doubles finals of the US Open last year, is currently in London to prepare for the French Open to be held later this month. Aisam is an ambassador of Aman ki Asha.

I am not really a doubles fan because one has to share victory, success and glory with a partner mostly from another country!. Would have been wonderful had he acheived this feat in the singles.
