I have read your detailed opinion above . Lets talk some facts, there are four provinces in the country, four different cultures and karachi (urdu speaking people) united as pakistani due to islam. (I know you will not agree but if pakistan state was not made for islam then why did millions migrated to pakistan from india?. So islam teaches us if someone migrate to your land you make them your brother and sister (Madina ring any bells). So if Afghans living in KPK for more than 30 years (completely integrated) have childrens who havent seen afghanistan in there lives and consider pakistan as there home. All i am saying is that lets not judge Afghan refugees through there government behaviour. Lets not think selfishly as we all pakistani's are better people than that, lets become people which are accommodating,respectful and tolerant. We should grant afghans refugees citizenship if they accept the constitution of pakistan.

Lets not get into assumptions,these afghan refugees have every right to be allowed to settle down in a country they have called home for 40 years.

sir you can keep your readings to your self, I am aware enough that pakistan is already at the verge of population explosion and these afghans are not bright symbol of patriotism in favour of pakistan. Pakistanis cannot accept this, specially after afghan's anti pak movements. They want nationality, they have to earn it by showing respect otherwise they can go to hell

I am not arguing to expel them right now. Even if we have to have them here then their case must be presented by a mainstream national party instead of an ethnic politician and without creating new provinces we cannot afford to give them nationality.

It will certainly have an impact on the demographics of Balochistan where there is a very delicate balance b/t Pushtuns and Balochs and Baloch will contest it hence new ethnic tensions.

First we have to secure our boarder with Afghanistan before taking any step to grant Afghan refugees the nationality otherwise it will open new doors and within few years entire Afghanistan will get our nationality

I accept that I am not a true liberal and personally I think our world is still not ready to digest multiculturalism. Western liberals made a mistake to promote multiculturalism too early

First it robbed the third world of its brains + liberal minds hence curbed the rise of liberalism in our part of the world. Instead of fighting to liberalize our own societies our liberal minds migrate to the safe heavens of the west.

Secondly the rise of aliens in western nations creating fears among the local population and emboldening the local nationalistic and religious forces and even has heralded the collapse of liberalism in the west am afraid

I think first we need a victory of liberalism in all parts of the world before opting for the journey of multiculturalism.

i think the case of afghan refugees is different in the sense that these people will have no problem integration as there are already millions of ethnic Pashtoons in Pakistan.
As long as Balochistan is concerned,I don't think so they have a very huge population of refugees there because mostly these people are living in Pukhtoonkhwa.
