i am amazed at police behavior these days(mumtaz qadri indecent). isnt this strange that our police(who are cursed every day) is more concerned about such incidents than is our military.

Those who are moving in streets (Not Highway) and had an access to ordinary public places like grocery shops, 'barber shops' etc. are unanimous in their resolve that gone are the days when civil & military establishment had a respect or common men was afraid of their outburst.

Today, on ground there is not a single common man with cool approach or looking sensible. As per Newton 3rd Law in Physics, "There is always an equal and opposite reaction". It has proved today in downtown Lahore.

Abuses are a very little thing to react. People who had AK-47 or another high caliber weapon are firing in Lahore (though in Air and mostly at night). This act speaks volumes of their resentment and anger towards all security establishments & agencies which were thought earlier as public guardians.

One question they ask and are unanimous is: When Lahore High Court put Raymond Davis name in ECL (Exit Control List) then how on verdict of a junior court he was instantly moved to Allama Iqbal International Airport to board a special plane that reached Lahore Airport hours before Raymond Davis appearance in the court where all proceedings were held/completed in camera, with such a haste?

Tide has turned and as per public opinion Nawaz Sharif who had a large vote bank in this city is under vigorous criticism and abuses by all and sundry. Nothing including such columns can change their minds as this episode has taken place in their own city!
