I am disappointed with Musharaf for not eliminating Sharifs and Zardari.These two families are like cancerous tumours.He let Parchi Sharif escape to Jeddah.He caved in to American pressure and signed a deal to let Benazir back.America wanted Benazir as PM and Musharaf as president to serve American interests.Benazir accepted the deal but when she came to Pakistan she turned against Musharaf after seeing the opposition against Musharaf.

In his era pakistan did very well economically infrastructure was built, country flourished price of dollar was low and food was cheap.
. Sadly after 10 year rule people rejected him.
But he did his best for pakistan i will always miss him.
My favorite personality suffered a lot in 2022 due to the disease finally he is at peace with allah RIP gen honarable pervez musharaaf saheb.
A great honorable gentlemen may allah give courage to his family to bear this loss ameen.

yes letting go the criminals free, NRO cannot be forgiven. Same people are ruining the country right now but you are blind and will not be able to see beyond your petty interests. The compulsive liar (lied to everyone of deal with Musharraf), sitting in London was the biggest mistake of establishment including Altaf Hussain & Zardari.

Stop BS about it. Musharraf had sold off the country to American. There is no such selling off at this time. There is no drone attacks, killing of its own innocent people. The killing is done right now by TTP , the sympathizers of PTI.
I would be the very first one who would write against it. But Iam not a blind follower of any party like you and other idiots on this forum.
Personally I would consider him a grey character.
1)The Kargil misadventure would always be a disastrous chapter for not just Pakistan but regional stability/strength of SAARC, but then there were failed Agra summit too , plus noting better happened after his resignation in 2008.
2)There are analysts who blame him for rise in terror related activities but then couldn't check newspapers, manuals , audios and videos from 1980s and 90s ; where different sects were declaring each other heretics. Shootings and blasts in Masajid were already taking place before Military Coup of 1999
3)Local Government setup/system during his tenure was comparatively way better.
4)Whether elected prime minister or military dictator , it's all about one's loyalty and dedication towards his/her nation. Parvez Musharraf's era would witness influx of private media networks and that's why people now can have variety of opinions. Parvez Musharraf allowed shows like 'Hum Sab Umeed say hain' to mock him; plus reportedly even met the artiste who used to mimic him. Now compare that with Saudi Arabia, Iran, China, Egypt or UAE. But at the same time he was not as committed and strong as Saddam Hussain, Moammar Qaddafi and Feidl Castro.....the three Late dictators were hated by USA and Western block but now hypocrisy of USA/NATO can easily be exposed especially with Russia-Ukraine War.

So, according to you, his greatest achievement was that he was able to setup a TV channel which could mock him .. Thats sounds like a greatest achievement of all kinds in human history from a dictator who tried to hang their rivals and blown their bodies in pieces in Baluchistan.
