I don't think that applies to Pakistani politics unless you are one of the Generals or PDM crooks who repents after looting the country and ordering the abduction and killing of many innocent civilians.
The innocent awaam who wanted a corruption free country are still waiting for divine justice.

Let us not paint the army with the same brush. Only a couple of hundred shameless & corrupt generals out of 6.5 million soldiers have ruined the institution's prestige & its image.
Let us hope that one day, an honest, upright, and loyal Pakistani general would emerge to clean up the damage left by previous generals.
