Pakistan Islami mulk nimazi gair mehfooz, masjid gair mehfooz, awam gair mehfooz, hukumran gair mehfooz chand dollar ki khatir iman kiya mulk ka soda kar diya kis munh se kehtay hain ke muslaman hain. Islam ka matlab hai peace na kay terrorism.

We are a moderate nation who believes in law and justice. people went to jail, got hurt to have free and independant Judicary and today if someone believe in vigilante justice system, he is a jungly or a terrorist. I reckon my nation is headed towards the gallows. Speculation, sectarian division, intolerance, bigotry, corruption. Pseudo-intellectuals, selfish lobbies, bloody politicians. Not a single statesman, not a single patriot. Either it is PPP, PML-N, MQM, JUI or Shia-Sunni, Minority Rights. This crowd-nation is divided on every conceivable issue. Just take this topic, whether qadri was right or not, the whole nation is divided. I believe qadri did the right thing. We have some predefined limits of what to say and what to do. Qadri did not kill him because salman taseer was a "sharabi", he killed him because he did tauheen-e-risalat. "how did salman taseer do tauheen-e-risalat" that would be in your mind. Scholars say a person who tries to save another person who commits tauheen-e-risalat, and post comments against this law is equally punishable. Now, let me come to another interesting point. Most of us really haven't read this "qanoon" in detail, have no clue about the history of islam, have no idea how people were punished during our Prophet (PBUH) era who did tauheen-e-risalat. We are moderate and secular enough to jump to the conclusion that "qadri took a life and islam doesn't teach us to kill", plausible but not conclusive. Well, let me correct you, islam doesn't teach us to kill any one but islam does force us to kill a person who does tauheen-e-risalat. There are some exceptions in every law, and this is an exception. This is not inhuman at all, that's how we are supposed to react to situations like these. Just read hamid meer's column, javed chaudhry's column, reviews of aalims published in newspapers. Read the reaction of common-man, do a little bit of research before using your logical minds to post whatever comes in your mind. For god sake, don't treat yourself as a scholar of islam, read what scholars have to say and do a little research. It's not about taliban, it's not about extremism, it's not about bloody politics it's only about islam. This is a very serious topic and all the nation must have just one opinion on this.
You might be very smart, well educated, very logical and fairly sophisticated, but go through the islamic history on this act. May be you'll learn some thing new.
