Nahi yar, you can never write off a coup in Pakistan. On the other hand, it is actually a martial law since 2018, when everything is being done as per their wishes, they have control of everything, the PMs are dummy and accept also being dummy, then what is left. There were PMs like Junejo, Jamali and Shuakat Aziz etc, but was that democracy? No it was still a martial law, so it is the same case since 2018 and seems like it would remain same for many years to come. Until the govt changes for their imperial masters and Republicans have other ideas/plans for Pakistan, which is also only a bleak hope that they might change, there is no other way that Pakistan is going to get out fo this mess.
Having said all this, we must also admit that there has been a significant crack in their repute, hold and approach. So the other option is obviously an implode but that won't bring any good, actually might worsen it.
