Pakistan like other developing countries doesn’t give any importance to health and safety.Pakistan needs to setup a body like UK’s Health and Safety Executive(HSE).The HSE is responsible for preventing workplace deaths,injuries and illnesses.When accidents occur HSE investigates the cause of accidents and how to prevent them in future.Every employee in factories,hospitals,ports,airports etc should be required to attend health and safety courses.All work places should be inspected annually to make sure safety procedures are followed and the environment is safe.Punishing doctors is not the solution.Find the cause of the fire.If it was due to negligence then punish those who are responsible,
Are you sure doctors are running the hospital?.By running I mean doctors manage all medical and non-medical staff,provision of medicines,looking after all equipment,power supply etc.I don’t believe doctors can do this on top of their real job which is dealing with patients.In other countries non-medical people manage day to day running of hospitals.

It is not the job of fraudulent CM to fire physician on the spot. There should be transparent investigation and based on those findings the courts or board of governor should take those steps.
However, fake CM is from cheater and rangbaaz family and therefore these kinds of ad-hoc decisions are expected from low IQ dictators.

I always thought in Pakistan Medical Superintendent are Doctors who volunteer to take additional charge of administering and managing day to day operations of hospital/clinics for extra income, power and influence and hence are responsible

I simply can not forget how the great PKLRI project was destroyed only to satisfy political needs. This is exactly why management of SKCMH has repeatedly asked to be spared from politics.
This is incorrect.If I am wrong then someone can correct me.I have lived outside Pakistan for many decades.All medical staff report to the superintendent. He exercises administrative and financial powers.
